No dormimos en el hotel. Tomamos el desayuno. Es excelente. Vale la pena cada pound (20 Continental o 30 buffet). Volveremos seguro!

Had a really enjoyable stay at the Royal Crescent.
We had a beautiful, spacious room with an amazing view of Bath. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was of a high quality.
A few slight niggles that prevented a five star review though:
- The spa is quite dated in parts, particularly the men’s changing room which urgently needs a refurb
- My masseuse clearly had a bad cold and was coughing and sniffling throughout which detracted somewhat from the relaxing experience
- Whilst our room was lovely, the bathroom was small and had no bath

Afternoon tea is a tradition to be savoured and enjoyed to the full. The Royal Crescent doesn't disappoint. Whether you are staying at the hotel or a visitor to bath go on and treat yourself. You won't be disappointed. The service is second to none. The selection of teas gives you the safety of English Breakfast and the adventure of Danish Pastry flavoured roibos, or a chocolate brownie black tea to name but two. The sandwiches can't be faulted. The scones are light and fresh. A wonderful bonus of a sugar glazed bath bun and then patisserie cakes to compete with the french.
What more do you want a fantastic setting on the Royal Crescent.

This review is specifically for the breakfast service. The breakfast is delicious however it could be better in terms of fresh juices. The hotel promotes its juices as 'freshly squeezed' however they are just 'fresh' juices. Either carton or supplied to them. For the price they charge per person they should be able to squeeze fresh oranges on the day within the hotel. To me this was the biggest let down. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Hotel and Restaurant 5/5, Spa 3.5/5.
Wonderful experience at the hotel. Excellent service which was professional but not stuffy. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, effective AC system, room cleaned twice a day, great concierge services. Restaurant is top notch. We enjoyed all of our meals and drinks. Christmas package was awesome and worth it to us. Couldn’t recommend the hotel more!
Spa - I had both a massage and pedicure and both were just ok. Nothing special even though the therapists were nice didn’t seem very experienced. The facilities are dated and don’t scream luxury at all. The highlights are friendly staff and a very nice pool, spa, sauna room. If you are going for these it’s worth it.

Amazing stay, definitely living up to the 5-star rating. It was one of the most dog friendly hotels we’ve stayed in, with bed, treats, water bowls, dog bin. The room we were in was amazing and facilities were great.
The only downside is the dinner. 6-course might be nice, but we went for a la carte and were very disappointed. A venison was £38 and was a small slice, not even a fillet (reasonable for a 6-course menu but not for an individual main course). Either too expensive or too small of a portion.

Indulging in cream tea at the Royal Crescent Hotel is nothing short of an experience fit for royalty. Nestled in the heart of Bath’s iconic Georgian architecture, the hotel provides the perfect backdrop for this quintessentially British tradition. As you settle into the elegant surroundings, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and cozy.
The scones? Absolutely divine. Fluffy, warm, and perfectly golden, they practically melt in your mouth. In true Devon style, the clotted cream is not just served, but generously applied, creating the perfect base for the sweet fruit jam. Each bite is a perfect balance of rich cream, jam, and delicate scone. The freshly brewed tea complements the indulgence, offering a light, refreshing contrast to the rich flavours.
A truly special touch was when the chefs came to see us at the table. It’s rare to experience such a personal connection with the creators of your meal, and their enthusiasm and pride in their craft were evident. This unexpected interaction made the experience even more memorable. Service is impeccable—attentive yet unintrusive, ensuring that you feel like you're the only guest in the room. Whether you're savoring the delicate pastries or basking in the opulent setting, this cream tea experience at the Royal Crescent Hotel is a true treat for the senses and an unforgettable way to spend an afternoon.

The Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa Bath is a truely wonderful hotel to stay at. Situated just to the North West of the heart of the stunningly beautiful city of Bath the hotel is in the centre of the Royal Crescent.
You will be greeted by the friendly concierge who if there is space will take your car (note- it will cost £25 per day also as a personal favour could someone with a Bugatti Veyron go to the hotel as it is the only car the senior concierge has not driven.)
Reception is to the right of the main staircase and to the left of the lift. Two nice sitting rooms are in the same area.
Going through the back door into the well kept garden (perfect to sit in, weather permitting).
Looking down the garden to the left is the spa and treatment rooms. Swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi down stairs, with treatment rooms above.
Looking down the garden straight on is the restaurant and bar where breakfast is served 7am to 10am.
The bar is very pleasant and they have a wonderful array of drinks and very talented bar staff if one of the special cocktails catches your eye.
The rooms are very comfortable, each room has air-conditioning and all the usual amenities. The bed was great for me and the pillow menu was a lovely touch.
Note- the tea making facilities is very nice and correct sized drinking vessels (mugs) but being British the small bottle of milk only makes 3-4 cups, but the friendly staff are more than happy to send more to your room.
All in all The Royal Crescent is amazing definitely in my top 5 and possibly my number one (more research needed, which I am more than happy to do).

Amazing place. Very cozy and clean. The breakfast is fantastic and the concierge had the best recommendations. They’re also very kid friendly (high chairs, cribs or children beds and toys, small towels, etc.). The location is perfect distance from downtown, we loved our time there.

Wow! Definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed in in the UK. Everything is beautiful, tasteful, comfortable and luxurious. Thanks especially to Saskia for giving us a dreamy room and to Christoph for an incredible massage in the spa. I hope to be back soon.

Always a treat spending time here. It is by far Bath's (and the region's) Grande Dame and fully deserves its 2 Michelin Keys. The suites are beautiful, as are the grounds in general (and what a location!) All staff are excellent, from the porters to the very knowledgeable barmen and waiters. There is a small but properly equipped gym and spa, with a lovely pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna to help wile away the day. Looking forward to our next stay

We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Crescent during our time in Bath! Truly beautiful hotel, very well appointed rooms, kind and attentive staff was helpful throughout our stay, and delicious breakfast and afternoon teas enjoyed in their restaurant. Great location and surprisingly quiet hotel. Loved meeting Alfie and other neighborhood cats that call the grounds home! Spa was lovely but we did have several issues with our bookings that impacted the rest of our plans and wish I'd had more time to take advantage of the facilities. Still had a great massage, swim and steam! Highly recommend!

Me and my husband had the most beautiful stay in September for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had a lovely Junior Suite which was perfect as we brought our dog - easy access to the garden with plenty of room and special treats just for him. We’re still talking about it weeks on, especially the service; the team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and the little extras throughout made it extra special. We can’t wait to book another stay - thank you!
