Always like going to Toby at Wolviston, never had any problems and yesterday's visit was no different, Always felt welcomed by the staff especially Natalie who is very helpful and polite and who seems to know everyone which is a nice thing. Also a shout out to the Carver,s Dean & Jamy working hard but Always with a smile 😃

Food was amazing. Went for the carvery special offer, £6 for regular and £7.99 for king-size. The Carver was Johnny who was very polite and server Natalie who was lovely and made sure we used all our points and discount codes. Both very pleasant and professional, definitely recommend. Only 1 thing I would change. Thought the meet and greet lady on reception should have worn a uniform or at least something a bit more professional/appropriate we couldn't tell her apart from the other customers

For and service took too long considering it was a carvery. Food was tasteless and could taste the water or steam it was cooked in. Could have been the gravy cosbitvwas too watery. Been 4 times now and the 3 other previous times, there were no issues what so ever, well maybe the price of the drinks

Recommend booking table as it does get busy. Breakfast always seems a bit unorganised often waiting on items. Chefs and waitresses always give good service. Food is nice. Need a better pot washer as finding a clean plate is sometimes a challenge.

Visited about 5 years ago and left a bleurgh review as the food was mediocre at best.
We gave it another try today. The food is what you'd expect from a Toby, although the sausages were nice and well done, personally I would prefer the bacon to be a bit more well done.. (Sorry Harry, the food is always only going to be a 4 from me, others might rate this as a 5 though)
I would like to give Gemma a shout out though.
When we arrived she was polite, friendly and welcoming.
Whilst getting our food I noticed an egg on the floor that someone before me had dropped, and although she was the only person I could see on duty, immediately picked it up and cleaned the area.
As well as serving at the bar, she was preparing collections for delivery drivers very efficiently and clearing and cleaning rables. All with a smile and friendly attitude.
Managers please take note and let her know what a valuable member of staff she is.

Ellie and Lauren, you helped our allergic daughter to have a delicious worry-free meal from the carvery (gotta mention Brad's extra positive friendly manner too and Mike in the kitchen who couldn't have helped more!) We were sat at a table that felt very cramped - there was 5 of us and the table was meant for 6.
The lighting was terrible, aesthetically pleasing with the use of old alcohol bottles but not good for eating and socialising.
Nothing special for an occasion we were visiting for.
