It's a great atmosphere. Came for the cocktails masterclass and have been before for the afternoon tea multiple times. Always delicious. Ted's amazing and very informative and helpful. Great patience with a hen do group 😊

Had a cocktail masterclass as a Christmas gift from family member. The masterclass was good, got chatting to other attendees. The food wasn’t great! Dry plain beef burger, no trimmings. Chicken enchiladas were okay. To make this a better experience I feel they should block out a part of the restaurant for the group that have spent 2 hours together so they can eat together after the class. Instead we were all placed in different parts of the restaurant/eating areas. Or, eat first so you have something to soak up all the alcohol you consume in the masterclass. And menu is very simple, maybe a chicken burger rather than a plant based burger? And presented a little better.

Visited this place on a wim as we fancied some tapas. The tapas was OK, and we enjoyed two very nice cocktails. Service was excellent, polite, helpful, and quick. It was a bit loud in there for me (music and other customers), so I couldn't hear most of the conversation we were having. Would I recommend yes, but only if you're in a large group and definitely not as a couple.

I didn’t really have the best experience here, which was disappointing considering we had looked forward to our visit. From the start, things didn’t go smoothly. I asked if it would be possible for a couple of guests to switch their preordered mains. We were assured via email by Chloe that this would be possible. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the manager would not support such changes. These changes would have been only for 2 meals. In addition to that, some drinks orders were missing, and we had to repeatedly follow up. Even after the food arrived - with the drinks still missing - the manager, despite promising to sort it out, failed to do so. We ended up finishing our meal and had to chase the manager yet again for the forgotten drinks. I raised these concerns with the manager, explaining the issues with the main course changes and missing drinks. Unfortunately, the manager did not offer any apology. Adding to the frustration, I had clearly specified in the preorder that one guest couldn’t have anything spicy, yet their burger was still served spicy. The meals were generally quite bland and the “nachos” were literally just plain Doritos with two pots - one of salsa and one of guac. The one positive aspect of the experience was the waitresses. They were lovely, friendly, and seemed to do their best despite the circumstances. However, it feels like there’s a deeper cultural issue here, as the atmosphere seemed shockingly demotivating. Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this visit.

We booked for my friends birthday and upon arrival we were met with a rather grim face from the lady on the front desk. While trying to find our reservation, my friend found the booking and pointed it out. The lady then just walked off and we were left wondering what was happening. There was a gentleman at the front desk also, so we asked what was happening. He replied that our table was being prepared. Our waiter Jake was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us!! He made the afternoon and if it wasn't for him i really don't think we would have enjoyed it at all. Food was mediocre, wasn't alot of it either compared to other brunches we have attended in the area. There was a glass that was knocked over on our table from a passer by (complete accident) it was like it didn't happen. I had to ask a waitress walking by if she could help in getting it up, to be told ill do it in a minute. Same waitress walks by a few times. I ask again still nothing. 3 times I had to ask which is very disappointing. I understand it can be busy but when there's been a drink spilled and broken glass on the floor it becomes a matter of safety first. Luckily my friend still enjoyed the outing.

Where do I start?...Valentines Evening 14/2/25, my partner and I went to The Birmingham branch of Revolucion de Cuba in Temple St Birmingham,Started off okay sitting at a table, after one hour a surly waitress wuth a radio headset without any excuse or apology for interupting our conversation leaned across our table and put a reserved notice on our table saying 'you have 20 minutes to vacate the table ' !! The waitress then returned a short while later and asked us in more demanding way to vacate the table, there were plenty of other empty tables nearby with no reservations on them. ?We then finished our drinks and on going to the bar I attempted to tell the male member of bar staff what had happend but he also was rude and continued to mix drinks while I was trying to tell him about the member of staff ,he stated that we had been rude to he server!! HOW ?? because we had question about being told to move from the table ??.This male was also extremely rude and stated that the other member of staff had been insulted !! The only polite member of staff was the man at the front of house who we spoke to on our way out he apologised for their attitude.NOTE to company owners: on you next team meeting tell you staff how to treat customers more politely.they could learn from the staff at.La Iguanas opposite..two customers who wont be returning again and a loss on your part !!

Loved this bar, didn't try the food, even though it looked great. We visited for the fabulous cocktails and cosy atmosphere. We liked it, so much we revisited it during our stay (instead of the many alternative bars in Birmingham). The added bonus for us was that the Premier Inn was just around the corner. I can't recommend this bar highly enough. Lovely staff, great cuba music. Great atmosphere.

We dined on a Thursday afternoon before a concert. We were the only ones in (although there seemed to be a meeting upstairs?) and we waited a very very long time to be served to the point where our patience ran thin and had to beg someone to take our order. Once we had our order taken, we were told after 5mins there were no seabass which we were unhappy about as it was a new dish. The food was alright no wow factor. Again once we had finished it took so so long to pay. Luckily we had timed it so we had plenty of time before the concert otherwise I would have been unhappy to be late!

In for a drink on a quiet Tuesday night in January. A bit cold.. No mint for mojitos? In a "Cuban" bar? Great music, good decor Imagine it would be a good place on a busy Friday night. If they had mint...
