Visited with my husband and father on Wednesday evening and we could not fault anything: the food was delicious, piping hot, good size portions, service was fast, friendly and efficient, reasonably priced and great friendly atmosphere, all in all a tip night and very much enjoyed, we will return. 10/10 👍

Bit of a let down tbh, was expecting home cooked pub grub and it felt like everything was either frozen or prepackaged. Been in the past and was very impressed hence the return but only to back and disappointed.

Overpriced for what we had, £7.50 for poor salt and pepper chips, tinned mushy peas, small rag pudding, service was slow although the place was busy. £5 for a whisky and £2 for a splash of coke, £4.50 for a large coke, the theakstones gold was on form though.

We went here yesterday for my mums birthday meal and we could not recommend enough! The manager asked if we would like a better seat than the one we was on and the view was lovely! We went for fish and chips and the roast dinner it was delicious!

A group of us went to the Grey Mare for a evening meal the place was busy as was the car park
As usual I had fish ,chips and mushy peas the fish was spot on as was the peas, the big letdown was the chips they were pale and undercooked I did not finish them.
