We were served by Sam today and she was absolutely lovely, so friendly and chatty and really made the experience for us! Lovely food too, we travelled from Wales so really appreciate the lovely service and atmosphere :)

Food has got worse since the last time we were there. Dutch pancake was dry and not at all enjoyable. Service was excellent though.

We come to the pancake house and enjoy it every year, but this year we were disappointed. The pancakes were so dry and tasted like they were made from a pre made packet. My daughter had the traditional pancake and it was served with a massive hole in the middle and it tasted so salty it was awful. We couldn’t fault the staff but the food was not great so we will not be returning on our yearly trip to centre parcs.

Pancakes were amazing and Sharon was an amazing waitress, going above and beyond to provide the best service possible. Sharon deserves a raise, she is an asset to the site as a whole!

Everything except the food is great! What a pity.
Had the all day Omlette. It was pretty gross really.
Dont recommend.

Every year it was tradition we went to Pancake House at Elveden Forest, however after this year this tradition will change! The menu has changed and the pancakes are so dry! Three of our party order the traditional pancakes with lemon and sugar and they were inedible! So dry with a small slice of lemon on the side and hardly any sugar! Such a shame as this was one of our favourites. Staff were lovely though but food - don’t bother!

Very poor value for money, food was disappointing compared to our previous visits.

If I could give the food no stars I would. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE ANS WASTE YOUR MONEY. 1 scoop of ice-cream with supermarket own small American packet pancakes and 3 raspberries, bit of whipped cream and thin bit of sauce. It's the sort of thing you expect your child to put together and being you in bed on mothers day, not pay for and definitely not those prices. I can't believe anyone has every gone back once experienced. With all the amazing ice-cream places now open we where expecting something like that and got what could only be described as poor motorway service food 1980s style. Family of 6, over £100 wasted. Feel robbed.

I’ve been here many times growing up as a kid and had the privilege of coming full circle and now bringing my own 2 boys here. But I honestly wish I hadn’t.
This cost me £11, plus an extra £2 for the half a chopped banana. Just look back at the past photos. This place used to take pride in its food and serve incredible meals. I could have got better from McDonald’s.

Staff are great, but what’s this depressing soggy bread doing in place of french toast 😭

Due to a glitch on their website our booking timing was logged incorrectly.
instead of trying to find a pragmatic, solutions driven answer, server at reception basically just said "you missed it, were very busy" which is ridiculous considering there is a deposit (which we've now lost) and no recourse for an answer that would benefit customers (why dont we see if we can book you in a later time? Sorry about that im afraid we dont have any available slots until x).
Simply pointing at the problem and telling potential customers "yeah its your fault.. so..." is frankly unnacceptable .
Will be complaining across all review sites and escalating to Head office, our visit was today (6th October at 10 AM.)

We used to love the pancake house at centre parcs, but this year something has changed for the worse. The menu has changed and whilst there are some appetising additions, it's clear that the reason for the menu change was for the kitchen to be able to prepare simpler items with presumably a greater profit margin.
Pancakes used to be cooked with ingredients baked in, but now all of the toppings and flavourings are simply placed on top of a generic pancake.
It's perfectly acceptable but nowhere near the quality that it used to be, considering how much you spend at this venue and generally across centre parcs it's pretty poor.

Amazing food and service. As an allergen I found the service very good and they had my food out first to make sure nothing contaminated it and they cooked it in a separate batch.

Great place for kids, elas the Dutch pancakes are only cooked on one side, so avoid those … maybe the chef should be sent to one of their Dutch resorts for lessons :)
Kids milkshakes really good and so where the American pancakes and the omelets

we ordered 2 savoury pancakes. I had the Frank’s one, thinking they can’t go wrong when they’re already using such a delicious sauce… 3 small bites of chicken on the entire thing! The spring onion is a weird combo to be honest and all in all the pancake was just very bare of ingredients. It also went down terribly, and I very rarely get stomach problems! My partner ordered the Latino. She had more food on hers but it was just dolloped on and did not look appetising. It also tasted - according to her - a solid 1/10 … VERY unusual for her😂. It also later made her ill (it was 100% the pancakes) and it unfortunately affected a lot of our stay at CentreParcs. The service was great, the atmosphere was ok but a bit kindergarteny (I don’t really mind but just noting here as I’m leaving a review anyway). Will not be going back. Worst food I’ve eaten at a restaurant

Food, service and atmosphere were all equally great. We went sweet and savoury and both were lovely, the French toast states that it is sourdough but if it is it’s not traditional, however the other accompanying items were great. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating and the atmosphere was nice too! We sat outside as the weather was lovely and inside seemed rather busy but this was personal preference. Would recommend for a nice breakfast that’s well priced and family friendly!!

Location, service, atmosphere brilliant but disappointed as I ordered a pancake with fruit but only got a meagre amount of fruit. Was I got was sliced so sparingly that it was hardly there.

This was a lovely breakfast and the servers were great. We had a cappuccino which was good and the strawberry milkshake which was a children’s but that was the only option so it would be nice if adult size milkshakes were added to the menu. We also had the cookies pancake which was very nice but the best part was the apple crumble waffle which I could not fault at all, would definitely get again.

Two of us had pancakes with fresh fruit. Each plate had three smallish pancakes and the fresh fruit was a few blueberries, strawberries sliced really thinly so that there was some colour but probably just two strawberries per plate, and a few really thin slices of banana, so thin you.could practically see through them. We didn't complain because it was just what was described on the menu, but the words "cost cutting" and "scrimping" came to mind. For £10 it was disappointing and left us hungry. The other two breakfasts were also on the small size. One of our party had to go back to the apartment for a bowl of porridge! However the service was super friendly.

Was really looking forward to eating here
In fact we left later so we could
While some waffles were good, several pancakes were not
Hardly any chicken in chicken one and apple crumble one very dry with the cream looking like it was the last blob from the can
Left some as just couldn’t get it down with dryness
It’s a shame as other restaurants had been exceptionally good. Definitely not up to centre parc standards

Food and service was very good! Loads of places to sit, right infront of the river! Good amount of food. I would say £2 for what looked like half a banana extra was abit much, even a full banana would have been better. The staff were kind and always happy to help. Came here as was told it was a centre parc tradition. I would definitely return. Had a good experience.

Been going to Pancake House every CP visit for around 20 years however, on this occasion, probably the worst. Arrived on time for our table, got seated, ordered then told we’d have a wait of around 40 minutes for food. We could understand, it was busy, we made no comment and accepted it but, when the food actually arrived, none of the five dishes were even warm and my omelette was verging on cold, a big disappointment but 5 customers who won’t be going to The Pancake House on our next visit in 2025.

Staff are really friendly and willing to help. We had an activity booked and as the kitchen were running behind, they called the activity ahead to let us know we would be late. We had the pancakes and French toast which were both very well cooked and tasty, with the fruit tasting so fresh. Prices can be a bit higher but we ate from the special breakfast menu which made it cheaper than some main restaurants. The hot chocolate was thick and perfect temperature for me to drink. Only complaint would be, that when they were busy service from the kitchen was slow.

Lovely food, with a large selection and adaptable kids menu.
The biscoff French toast is delightful!
The service was reasonably quick, and we were large group to 10.
Would recommend.

First and last time we will visit a pancake house ,staying at centre parcs ,suffork. Asked for a big breakfast for my wife and myself ,well if you combined both of ours it would have made a medium size breakfast for one!. Scrabbled eggs were cold and the portion of eggs would probably fit into one egg cup.
Very disappointing, asked if it ok by the server ,I said not really eggs were cold ,plus size of portion was a joke for the price being charged .so returned the two ordered and choose a new yorker and blueberry pancake .
Wasn't really surprised when they turned up to be once again disappointed ,lot of money for mediocre food .both our granddaughters enjoyed theirs ,so at least it wasn't all bad .
Have to say staff were very good ,couldn't do enough for us when I started moaning 😀
Just beware don't expect a big breakfast that's not that big!

Expensive and definitely doesn't live up to expectation...
Was looking forward to visiting this place and even pre-booked 2 visits whilst we stayed at Center Parks. However... Three scotch pancakes and a small amount of fruit for around £9 with the children's version being £4 with one less pancake and the same amount of fruit...
Overpriced and I've had much better pancakes from ASDA's bakery. Needless to say the booked second visit has been cancelled!
Very disappointing!

Stars are for the staff and cleanliness only. The menu has changed!! So disappointed by our trip to the pancake house which has been a highlight for the past 15 years. Apparently they have had numerous complaints about the menu change…Center parcs if you are reading this PLEASE consider bringing back the breakfast pancake!! (The brunch one is no substitute)
