We had a lovely time visiting the Avon Valley Railway and trip. They have trips on every hour so there is enough places for everyone and if the weather is good it enhances the feel of the trip. They have a train bogie cafe where you can sit n enjoy your food. The kids n we enjoyed it.

First time here and we loved it. We decided to have lunch first before going on the train, lovely little journey of around 50 minutes. We sat in a compartment which was cool. We are looking at coming to some events.

Visited AVR today for a ride on train. Great little place with lots of volunteers/staff for assistance too. Visited the tea room and gift shop.

Although the line is relatively short, the steam train rides are enjoyable and very popular with families. The adjacent cycle track is also very popular for walkers and cyclists. It's a five mile cycle to the end of the track into Bath and then about another mile into the centre of Bath.

An extensive breakfast and brunch menu at good prices. You can either sit outside under cover, or in an old railway carriage which makes things different.

Cozy venue and super friendly staff, was served by Lucy (I believe). I got an iced latter, with oat milk thanks to their alternative options, all I had to do was ask! Would definitely recommend to others

Was quite plesent overall. Train and santa really good and the donkeys. The cafe seem to have run out of everythink and long queues. Staff behind the counter looked stressed. But all in all my disabled son enjoyed it the hour and half .

Went on the Santa experience and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great to ride on a real steam train and see Santa at the same time.
