The second best park I've ever been to. Very wild in places, but that’s definitely a plus. Lovely long walks, lovely views and wonderfully peaceful even at the weekend. There are benches perhaps every three minutes or so. Only toilets at the entrances to the park, and I wouldn't recommend most sections for wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

A really pleasant and interesting place. There are wooded walks, river walks and walks over grassland.

Miserable day but lovely walk. Plenty to see, and not too crowded.

I read reviews before visiting and took my wellies which came in handy especially as I went there in January. For what you have there the toilets are fine. There is a cafe there and a few seats in the area to sit on. Parking is a pound per hour.

When I was about five years old, and a pupil at Easton Road Primary School, we had a day out at Snuff Mills. Don't ask me how we got there, or even back to school because I really cannot remember. After all we are speaking of a time lapse of over 70 years, between then and now. What I can remember though is standing in that very spot before the turning wheel, and watching it go around and around. The smell in the air was also very pungent, most probably something to do with the River Frome, the damp air, and the rotting leaves. I visited again yesterday, and it was like being in a time capsule because nothing seemed to have changed. As I got older, perhaps eight or nine years of age, I would leave St Pauls early on a Saturday morning with friends, walk to Mina Road Park, then onto Eastville Park and follow the river through to Snuff Mills. Once there we would continue to follow the river until we got to Vassalls, and then up to the main Fishponds Road and home . . . just in time for Six-Five Special.

Lovely walk along the river, shame carpark is now and pay and display. We walked so didn't use it but very few cars there. River could do with some tree managent, lots of fallen trees.
