There was a huge red bow on the door which made me feel it was a real gift. The food was delicious. A huge choice. The team welcoming, hosting and waiting were very friendly and efficient. The decor and bathrooms was very beautiful. I enjoyed my time here very well.

Had the best Thai food ever. It was well cooked and very tasty. Although, I had to wait longer than my teammates to get my food, I guess my order was switched for a different menu item.
I have been here two more times and the food is super!
Had the mixed red curry both times and I can't get enough

Fab little local with a great size menu filled with Thai delights. Very pretty building and village. Green curry was well spiced and recommended. Good sized portions and service was excellent, friendly, prompt and warm welcome. Would return, it might take a while to work through the menu but there is an amazing choice, everything sounded great! Only item that was just about ok was the salt and pepper squid, a little bland and and a bit overcooked so was chewy but its hard to get squid spot so don't wish to be harsh, probably just a one off. It was still rather nice and batter was perfect. Overall a very satisfying meal. Open fire in the bar area was lovely on a chilly evening and the decor is cozy and clean. Was mid week so quiet, but expected. Thanks for a nice experience and hope to see you again for some delicious Thai food.

Really good food, really good service, and I can highly recommend the weeping tiger steak.
The steak was really good and cooked perfectly. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle.
A really enjoyable meal.

The Crown and Thistle is a good place to eat. It has a very sensible Thai curry and Thai stir fry menu. The service is excellent, welcoming and very professional. The atmosphe is warm, decore is traditional, clean and simple. Good place to go in any UK season.

We called here on our way up the A1 to Yorkshire after our holidays in Belgium. Completely random using Google maps (en route restaurants feature), so we had no idea what to expect, only that it was rated 4.5. Turns out it's a beautiful little village with a smart looking pub that serve Thai food!! Result !! The food was outstanding and very authentic, presented beautifully and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Flawless experience and much appreciated, what an amazing pit stop. Highly recommended.

Had the days special, noodles with veg and prawns plus Thai green sauce. Fresh fragrant and delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. The aperol spritz was chilled and nicely presented Would certainly recommend.

Glad we choose this pub for our pub lunch from our office team.
Wonderful ambience. Food was tasty. Plenty of options. Mark was very helpful in arranging everything and service was swift.
Definitely a 5 star experience.
Would recommend and will come back again.
