The staff are always brilliant, and the coffee I have whilst the lesson is happening is superb

The rating is based on turning into the car park to meet up with a friend for a few mins..no signs about parking fees and was charged £60 by parking eye for a twenty min stay..avoid this place unless you're actually staying there

Amazing place to stay. Great breakfast. The GM explains everything very well. The dinner was good and worth the price. The reception staff was good esp. Dylan and Nancy. The night staff was kind enough to serve us drinks. Thanks Andy and Shawn.
I would recommend this hotel anytime if you’re visiting Chester zoo or Chester itself

The last 2 times I’ve stayed here the spa facilities have been closed “due to unforeseen circumstances”. Not the end of the world of course but many hotels will send out an email or even call guests to let them know. I’m also due a “welcome drink” that I chose but wasn’t given the usual card to be told that I must have “already had it”. Quite disappointing overall.

Only stayed 1 night on a trip to Chester. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The menu in the bar/restaurant was not what I would call extensive. The food, however, was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was extensive and very tasty, which set us up for a day of wandering around the city. We would definitely stay again.

Staff at reception on check in were polite and friendly.
Once we got to the room, our first impressions were that it was clean and spacious. However, the heating/air con unit was broken and would only blow cold air! Not great considering it was 4 degrees outside and we have 3 children! The bed however, was so so comfortable and we all slept brilliantly.
We turned up for breakfast at 9.30, with no one to be found and a sign saying wait to be seated after waiting around and then going to reception we were eventually told that we were too late! Baring in mind people were people still eating and all the food was still out. I told him we weren't told what time breakfast was, and as we were about to leave he said he "would let us off this time" and we were allowed to sit down for breakfast. This came across as incredibly rude, especially considering there was no information anywhere that would inform us of mealtimes! The food itself we couldn't fault. We felt rushed however as the coffee machines were being cleaned, and staff were standing around near to our table.
The lady on the desk on check out is a credit to your company. She was polite, friendly and you need more people like her working for you

Room was to hot the quilt is to thick and to hot.the dinner at night I had fish and chips the fish was poor breakfast was cold I complained some one had not switched on the warmer the receptionist put it right thank you.

Ideal location for a visit to Chester. The staff are brilliant, so helpful, polite and friendly. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The only negative, we ordered breakfast for our room, which came late and with some items missing. But overall a great stay and will definitely go back.

Hotel was under construction however the room we stayed in was not ventilated sufficiently and smelt musty. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

Easy enough to get to, but had problems with the rooms. First room door would not lock so had to be moved. The second room did not have properly working air conditioning or extraction so the room got very hot and moist after a shower. The room also had plenty of cobwebs and extremely stiff windows. The beds and pillows were however very comfy so had a decent sleep.

Nice place. Good bathroom, decent internet, great breakfast, comfy beds, and nice rooms. When I went there were leaks from the ceiling. High price for dinner. At night there is quite a lot of light streaming in. Setting up Smart TV took a while. The person I went with couldn't use their phone it the hotel, although that was sorted. The place is a maze and had some trouble with room service. But enjoyed myself.
