Had an excellent meal. Service was superb. Could not get internet connection to order a Uber home & one of the staff ( possibly the manager ) ordered & paid for the Uber on his phone.Service above & beyond expectation. We will definately return again & again. Thank you Steve & Bev

A lovely and large pub/restaurant. Although very busy, the service could not habern better or quicker. Taken to our seats by friendly, helpful staff and drinks provided very quickly. Now as for the Sundat roast, it was without doubt one of the best we have ever had. The beef melted in the mouth and the accompaniments were plentiful and superbly cooked.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly, no issues there at all.
The food was to be polite dreadful. We ordered off the lunch set menu, 2 courses for £15.50 & in truth it was one of the worse meals I have ever had. Garlic mushrooms straight out of a cheap quality packet, then fried with a small pot of out the jar garlic mayo, horrible. The so call buttermilk chicken tenders & skin on fries, I would be ashamed to given to anyone. Basically a sliced breaded chicken, drizzled with bbq sauce. It was dry, obviously been cooked a long time and hard. All in all a disgraceful and complete waste of £31. The 1 star is for the staff.

I booked for a visit with my sister and her wife who have 2 small dogs and were visiting from Lincoln. The dog friendliness is why I booked, from walking in to be greeted with dog water bowls and treats to the staff being really dog friendly too. I had been "bigging up" the flatbread meal which unfortunately wasn't on the Sunday menu..... however our waiter explained we could still order it. The food was amazing, hot, quickly prepared and tasty. We indulged in deserts too. There was a 30% offer on main courses which reduced our food bill nicely. I would definitely recommend eating here. We've booked again for next month when my other sister flies in from Sweden.... see you soon!!

From the moment we walked through the door it was a lovely charming local pub the food was excellent the drinks weren't to expensive all the stuff we're lovely and friendly we'll definitely go back I was very happy it's a nice atmosphere
and next time we'll bring the spaniel. Will be visiting again soon.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Hoghton Arms. The service and the food are excellent even on a busy Friday night it's well worth a visit. Nicky and the rest of the team were friendly and engaging and the chefs did a great job

Came Friday lunch, told food would be 40 minutes, but came quicker.
Food was ok, but have had much better for same price.
Staff could be more attentive, there were 2 waiters and barman helping with food delivery.
Not visited for a while, will likely be a while before we visit again.

There was a large party of us. We’d chosen our food in advance which is a great idea.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. The food is much better than it used to be and everyone enjoyed what they had.
Altogether a great experience and we’ll definitely have more family get togethers at The Hoghton Arms. A+

Fantastic nothing else to say a must to visit food out off this world steak pie is a must and Sunday roast it wow great not frozen rubbish care and attention is the key and the manager as got it off to a tea

Brilliant service throughout as always, Andrea and Cody were fantastic. They even did a starter for us that isn't on the menu anymore. Our favourite family pub!
