Been a couple of times now & have to say the fish & chips are really good. Ordered drinks via app but even tho didnt seem busy drinks were very slow to come. Overall a really good JD. Def worth visiting

A complete con. We walked out soon after arriving. It was supposedly "Steak Tuesday" today, but when we arrived the menu was vague. The advertising picture had been of steak, chips and all the trimmings, but the supposedly cheaper "Steak Tuesday" version was only steak and chips. We were lured in with one thing, and offered a cheap and worse alternative. No thanks. Rude staff, too. I was greeted at the counter with "Table number!" instead of a polite greeting.

I called to meet over a coffee. Downstairs coffee wasn't working and no seats. Disabled person I was with struggled to 1st floor.

It is wetherspoons so can't expect too much. Hit and miss some staff are nice some OK and the odd one awful

Good breakfast bottomless hot drinks and in no rush to kick you out so good for a catch up and gossip with a couple of old work colleagues..

I've always raved about the service in wetherspoons pubs, but this one is absolutely shocking! I've travelled from South Yorkshire and always enjoyed hospitality with these pubs, I struggle to find a nice place sometimes because I have an assistance dog and I suffer quite badly from anxiety, I went in today for a drink and before I got chance to say anything the assistant on the bar marched off and then promptly returned and told me that we weren't welcome in the pub. I tried to explain that my dog was an assistance dog and that wetherspoons in my town always welcomed us, but she was very rude and insisted her manager didn't want assistance dogs in the pub. Professionalism doesn't cost anything, and neither does manners, absolutely disgusting behaviour. I'm just glad my dog isn't a guide dog because I should imagine they'd be treated the same way.

Unique witherspoon, we went upstairs where we were up in the roof space of the old picture house. Lovely chilled atmosphere similar to a large coffee house, bistro. Downstairs is a more traditional with
erspoon, more alcohol focused. Food was really good, varied and well presented. Great place for 4 generations to meet. Could benefit with lifts though

Cheap beer!!! Cheap food !!! Cheap place to take a date in case she not worth it. You don’t lose to much money!! And easy to get away without being seen by them as normally busy so easy to mingle into the crowd
