Went for the normal self guided tour around the caves which goes to about 100ft deep. Nicely lit to see walking around with lots of information posted everywhere. Can be steep at parts. They do a semi-deep and deep dive tours as well where you can venture further in the caves (needs to be prebooked)

A great afternoon out with loads of really interesting history! My two young girls loved it, lots of little additions to keep them interested throughout. We visited on a wet Friday in half-term so didn't explore much outside the caves but there's a nicely little play area for when it is dry. Well worth the money! The café also onsite is brilliant but does get busy. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer!

Went yesterday with 6 year old grandson to see The Very Hungry Polar Bear. It was amazing! The amount of time and effort that had gone into this display was incredible. The caves were filled with beautifully decorated trees and lovely decorations as you followed the story around the caves.
Will definitely be back next year!

Today we visited the best family Christmas experience. The whole self guided tour was extremely enjoyable! We have visited Valkenberg caves in Netherlands and love it but feel Clearwell is as enjoyable but with a different content. You must try it to believe it! Even the food and gifts were top quality! Thank you staff for making it a worthwhile journey!

We had so much fun exploring the caves last year, that we brought our 6 year old son with us this year. He thoroughly enjoyed the caves and the pumpkin counting event put on for Halloween. Although, not so interested in all the information just yet!!
We arrived a little after our slot but the lady was very accommodating and friendly and we were allowed straight through.
The gentleman in the gift shop afterwards is very informative and engaging, a lovely gift shop. We didn’t visit the cafe on this occasion, but we had a delicious sandwich and hot drinks when we were here last time.
Very much recommend!!

Brilliant visit in amazing caves with just the right amount of quality special effects including bat sounds. Also loved the café with games tables.Lovely welcome from the lady at the entrance kiosk.Shame couldn't be said of the woman in the giftshop who oozed a hostile attitude to my ( well behaved) grandchildren who had the temerity to touch some of the toys🤷♂️
