Most enjoyable visit from which I learned a lot from both room guides and copious notices.

Absolutely stunning example of a National Trust property! Huge amount of exhibits. Several very knowledgeable staff on hand to offer information and interesting insights into the colourful history of this fantastic property.

The location is quite interesting. However, the house is not wheelchair accessible.

Lovely welcome, really helpful room guides, not too busy even in half term, great 'lion-finding' trail to keep the kids amused while the adults read the informative folders in each room. Gardens are really well kept and will be stunning when the spring/summer flowers bloom ❤️ second hand book shop was well stocked. Nice little.shop stocking the usual NT gifts etc. Didn't access the coffee shop so can't comment on that. Will visit again during a different season to compare.

Nice place to visit not a lot of information about the family who looked after the house.

A great day visiting the house and gardens. Some very informative guides to fill in the details of the house. Some interesting stories.

Was a good day out but as national trust members free car park, free entry to the house other wise can get expensive especially a family, so recommend getting on the national trust scheme. No drone footage today weather was miserable.

✅ Beautiful Gardens, flowers and vegetable. One of the best ones in the area. ✅ Works as a place you can do short and long visits. Plenty to see (house, old church, gardens, shop, café and fields attached to the property, small playground) ✅ Dogs are permitted on the grounds on a short lead ❗ Dogs are not allowed in the cafe which is not convenient as other National Trust locations that have an area that is doggie friendly. So if the weather is a bit poor, there is nowhere to take cover.

Always love exploring NT properties and this one is no different. Great gardens, beautiful house, cure little bookstore. Rain or shine, it's worth a visjt.
