Delicious food and great service in very clean and comfortable surroundings. It's great for kids, with a play area and nothing too much trouble.

It's average. Unfortunately, many things are often unavailable to eat, and even cocktails were unavailable a few times. It's quick (mostly regular, but can be short staff). Wouldn't say it's cheap cheap, and sometimes some items are not as hot as I'd like,

We had our bimonthly dementia cafe, and Sally G and the whole team were exceptional. also, the Cheswold were really generous with a nice raffle prize and free croissants. Thank you all.

Very very disappointed experience with this place, the food was not managed properly, lids off, leaving it to go cold, items missing, it was that bad we left hungry, and looking for another restaurant, the layout needs straight lining, all the jams, toaster fruit juice are crammed into a corner, so people were budging others out of the way, we paid top price for very low standard. Not happy

Amazing experience as always, friendly staff, good service and lovely food, good choice of alcohol.
Can't fault Amy, Emma, Marcus, Nathan and Paris for their friendly faces and bubbly attitude (we love you all).
It's a local to me and my family. I definitely highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique pub.

Definitely would not recommend this place. We had a large group across two adjacent tables. We placed an order in two separate parts for food, at which point we were advised of a wait of 45mins. The manager came over to our tables to make sure the orders were from the same party, and to confirm that everything was to come out together.
Around an hour later, half of the food came out. “Overpriced slop” is probably a good description. As a group, we don’t normally leave food, but there was a lot uneaten here.
When the rest of the order didn’t arrive, we asked where it was, and were told that there was a delay, even though other orders for other groups were still coming out. The waitress tried telling us that other orders had been placed in between ours, but when we said that the orders were all together as confirmed by the manager, the waitress replied “well it isn’t my fault”. Maybe hospitality isn’t the right job for her.
20+mins later, the rest of the food arrived. Again, the food was poor quality.
We raised our experience with management and some of the food was refunded, but it’s fair to say we won’t be coming back.

We celebrate my nannans birthday here every year, the lovely staff put banners out and had birthday napkins on the tables for her this year and it made it that bit more special, thank you Sally and Amy 🙂

My grandson had his 7th birthday party at Cheswold, Doncaster, he only had 6friends coming so we couldn’t book a party, I bought all 7 children a meal and pudding from the menu plus drinks. The lady in charge of the soft play area, Sally, couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly, she went out of her way to make sure the children had fun and helped when the food was served. The children’s menu was fantastic value for many and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Staff unfriendly and ignored when entered. Not even acknowledged to say hello be with you shortly.
Food substandard.
Sirloin steak full of fat.
Green tomato
Overcooked grease onion rings
And chips that looked grey.
Not impressed not even asked if the food was ok.
Left it I’d rather go without.

Love this place. The food is decent for a chain, however it more than makes up for it with the staff. They are lovely- especially Sally G who always goes out of her way to make sure you’re ok. She doesn’t stop! Wish my staff were all like her!
