Nice location, food terrible for the money.
Fried eggs were rock hard and the gammon was dry as a bone.
Might go back for a pint but will definitely avoid the food.

We stopped here just for drinks and as it was a lovely day we sat outside.
It was a lovely view along the canal with the barges and various fishermen scattered along the edge.
Service was very good also.
Definitely a place to go on a sunny afternoon.

Been to the Cutter a good number of times when we are in the area. Lovely place on the river front. A little pricey for a Guinness & large Pino, in fact the highest I've found in Ely which I have visited most of the places in the area but the position is also the best I've found so overall satisfied. Highley recommended is a drink or two and a visit to the Waterside Antiques centre which is just a five minute walk along the river. Free parking nearby so overall well worth a visit to the area.

I ordered a gin, it came with a nice presentation but without any gin in it. On top of that, the table we sat at was dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves. I didn't expect such a mistake. I don't think I'll be coming back

We went here to drink gin, but there was almost no gin in the glass.
We will never come here again.

I had lunch here on Saturday, with my three friends. Lovely food, friendly, helpful staff, speedy service and value for money. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Good pub, very busy and lively atmosphere. We had a table in restaurant area which was quieter. Nice food although a little on the pricey side and not the most flavourful. I had the aubergine and my friend the prawn noodles. Good service.

They gave us a window seat, which was very cool. It was my Aunt's birthday, the first since her sister (my mother) died last year. We wanted to make her feel special, which I am delighted to say the staff did. Our waiter even sang Happy Birthday (very discretely).
Oh yes, the food was perfect too!
Thank you all for helping make sure her day was special.

My neice and nephew came from Notts for my 86th birthday, Nice table by the window. My nephew had the venison and was very pleased with it, neice and I had 'battered cod", huge serving! Perhaps over battered, but chips brilliant. We all had sticky toffee pudding and our lovely waiter brought mine first, with a candle in it, singing happy birthday. He was charming. My only criticism, probably unresolvable, was cramped ladies loo. Excellent parking lovely view of long boats, swans and trains. . Thank you for a very pleasant lunch taken at a leisurely pace.

Quiet afternoon for a beer or two
