We visited on a lovely sunny day and had a great time even though it was quite busy. The walk was lovely but suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and there is also a cafe, play areas, and lots of flatter meadow walks.

One of my favourite places to visit in Devon. The walk up to the falls is wonderful, the food at the cafe - superb. Plenty to do for the children and the view from the top is worth every single step taken towards it!

Tidy little walk to the top , paths are challenging , and if your 75 and over your gonna be panting . That being said you could turn this 1hr walk into a day trip for more elderly people. . I particularly enjoyed the time in the lower car park petting and feeding the horses .

Beautiful walk and wonderful views at the top. We then got to enjoy some of the delicious food from their café. Brilliant day out.

Such a beautiful place we ended up visiting twice. The walk to the top is very pretty and we enjoyed trying to find all of the fairy doors along the way. Also the view from the top of stunning.

Well signposted and easy to enter (we pre booked online). Staff were friendly and helpful (Chris) and he explained where to go and toilets, cafe were. The walk was pleasant, plenty of signs and information about the different areas, wildlife and waterfalls. Very clean, scenic and my children liked the dinosaurs and fairies 🧚‍♀️. It was raining but it made our experience. It was misty at the top however we enjoyed watching the waterfalls and highly recommend this experience. There's a cafe however we enjoyed our packed lunch on the outside tables. Gift shop was nice, a little pricey but to be expected. Had a 7 day free return so may take advantage again if the weather improves.

Lovely waterfall, nice cafe, friendly staff. Really nice walk. 11 year old enjoyed it. Lunch was lovely too. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

Wonderful place to explore. Would not recommend the cafe. Looong wait for over toasted teacakes despite not being too busy!

Really overpriced. Almost 12 pounds per person. It is not bad. Nice waterfall, pretty decent view and a decent walk. But for a 40 minute walking with a nice view on top it is way to expensive. Would be worth it if it was free or maybe 2-4 pounds max.

Lovely walk. The waterfall walk took about 1 hour to complete we then went to walk around the lakes which took about 40 minutes. Overall we had a lovely day here. Lots of gorgeous views and the food was gorgeous with friendly staff.

Nice trek up to the waterfall. Walking shoes, boots, would be a good option.

Really lovely walk through the woods that ends with an amazing view of Dartmoor at the top of the waterfall! The labyrinth was a really cool art piece and the cafe has some good food!

So many lovely places to visit on Dartmoor but this has to be one of my favourites. We arrived as it opened and we're rewarded with a tranquil walk and didn't see another soul till halfway back down. The views are magnificent and the surrounding area full of birds and wildlife. Facilities are very clean and accessible and the café has a good selection of savoury and sweet treats. Coffee was delicious and served in proper cups by cheerful and helpful staff . Lots of lovely things in the shop including their own honey from hives on site and Free apples from their orchards

I visited the waterfall with my Mum and young children. We spent a leisurely day walking around the gardens and then had lunch, the children really enjoyed the play park. I'd definitely recommend a visit. What I dislike is that people get discounts if they work for the NHS, Blue Light, or Armed Forces. These people are all professionals that can afford to pay the full price. Have you considered giving a discount to single mums or people on tax credit? There are many jobs that play an important role in our society. I hope you reconsider your discount policy so it help people that need it rather than using it to demonstrate your own personal bias towards people you think are worthy.

This is a lovely place for a family day out. Have been for several visits, varying from Sponsored Abseils to part of boat club to general visits. The only thing that I can say on a negative is that the food and drink is really expensive so I would recommend taking a packed lunch.
