Very disappointed. Walked all the way up the hill from the wonderful Fleece pub this evening Sat. 4th Jamuary 2025 at 7:30pm looking forward to a meal. The bar staff told us there was no food available as the Chefs had been sent home as it was too quiet. What a way to run a business. We went straight back down to The Fleece where we had a wonderful meal, with great staff, excellent Timothy Taylor Beers in a wonderful atmosphere. Forget the White Lion, they don't deserve the business👎

This is a lovely traditional pub. Gives a real feeling of stepping back in time to a traditional friendly pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation is lovely with everything you need, tea, coffee, biscuits, hairdryer, fresh towels , bath products etc. very clean. Breakfast was gorgeous and evening meals are top notch. Eaten here and stayed here a few times and would definitely recommend

Popped in for a late afternoon drink on a busy Saturday in early December. Nice to find good mulled wine and a local ale in great condition. Good staff and felt very comfortable. Dog friendly and the dogs in the room were all comfortable in their surroundings and therefore well behaved.

We had a really good sunday roast here food was delicious and all the staff were great. The only down side wss England lost the football, ⚽😭which we watched on the big screen.. Worth a visit. We are not staying here we are in a cottage a couple of doors down.

샤알럿 브론테의 오래된 팬으로서 하워스를 방문했다. The Old White Lion 호텔은 너무 친절하셨고, 위치도 좋았다. 2층방은 전망이 좋아서 사진찍기에 좋았다. 가구는 약간은 오래되보였지만 화장실은 수리가 잘 되있었다. 저녁식사도 아주 맛있었다. 감자튀김을 평소 좋아하지 않는데 여기 감자튀김은 정말 맛있었다. 좋은 시간을 보내고 왔다.

Great location for a stay in Haworth and nice friendly staff. Only negative was the very soft mattress which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Nous avons dîner deux fois au Old White Lion durant notre séjour, j’ai pris le curry végétarien qui était un régal et le Mushroom Stroganoff qui était tout simplement merveilleux. Une expérience culinaire dont je me souviendrais longtemps!

Called in for a drink and a meal. Good food, good service and a brilliant sense of history. A lot of pubs today could be transplanted to anytown anywhere but the Old White Lion could only be in Haworth and that's what makes it so brilliant.

Fabulous pub in Haworth. The food is exceptionally good. The decor is quite dated, but this only adds to the charm and is very in keeping with its location. Would highly recommend.

It was the only pub we found open in late afternoon. We were so glad it was. Lovely old pub/hotel. A warm welcome and the food was superb.
I can't comment on the rooms as I wasn't staying but the if the rooms are nice as the public areas, it would be a treat to stay there.
