Service was great by bar man. Food, however, took over 25 minutes to get to us when quiet and simple dishes. Lovely place, but I wouldn't come to eat at peak time when busy. I would hate to think how long to wait after ordering.

One of the best pubs in leeds. Comfortable inside and beautiful outside overlooking the canal. Great beers and tasty food

Absolutely fantastic. Staff excellent, it is rare that I've been somewhere, where all the staff are brilliant. We arrived early, so they found us a table to park ourselves. The food - wow! I had Porchetta. The greens were glorious, the spuds splendid, the carrot and parsnip exquisite. Dunno about red cabbage, I only like that raw and it looked cooked. The Yorkshire Pudding and pigs in blankets were amazing. The stuffing ball was, an afterthought, tasted lovely, but not enough. The meat was exceptional, I tasted the beef, both were brilliant. Had cheesecake for dessert, Hmmm, it was like the stuffing ball chef did desserts. Not a great base, top like cold treacle. The ice cream however was ******* gorgeous! Will book again (assuming the stuffing ball chef doesn't see this).

The Bridge is a reliable bet for decent beer, good music and tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere without loud sports etc. Beers from Kirkstall Brewery (it's effectively the brewery tap), and other imports and collaborations, in tap and casked. Good vegan options on the food too, and vegan GF beer available too!

Regrettably I cannot give my long standing old favourite a good review on this occasion, which would usually be a 5* all the way. Too long now have they been without a decent standard cider on tap and not a sour in sight. I love visiting the bridge but lately they have failed to produce the goods. Sorry the bridge inn, maybe next time

This is a lovely pub and on a fine day, the beer garden is one of the best in the area. Being a Kirkstall Brewery owned pub the beers are good and constantly rotating. The food however is awful. Forget the long wait (> 1 hour) its tasteless and not value for money.

Great pub for a drink and chill! However, after having been plenty of times I can say the food is very average for a high price. Last visit I spent £18 on a burger and loaded fries. The burger was just meaty with no flavour or seasoning and came with weird tasting buns. Having to pay an extra£1 to get cheese on it only for them to forget it anyway is just cheek. The £4 upgrade to loaded fries was just a normal portion but with a few onions on top!? (Like really?!) You have to order at the bar like a spoons and it's always a long wait for food even when the place is really quiet(45-1.30hr). Which i wouldnt mind, considering the food is top notch. Shame really as it's my local and I like the place. Overall, i think its too hipster and trying hard to be something its not. For a drink and chill you can't go wrong! Food however you can find better elsewhere.

This has been my local for years. It was superb before Covid and I was a regular. After Covid, it's dropped in quality a bit. The beer is still good (Kirkstall Brewery), but some (not all!) staff are very rude -- something that never happened pre-Covid. Once a person carded me very rudely -- even others at the bar noticed. Just a few weeks ago, a very nasty staff member chastised my exhausted husband for sleeping. I understand that pubs have a no-sleep rule -- for good reason -- and we are fine with being told that. But this staff member did it very rudely "we don't have benches in here" and threatened to ban us for life. When we asked if the ban applied to only my husband or the whole friend group, the staff member replied with something like, "I'm not the police". My husband wrote to the pub with details of the incident and they replied asking for more info, which he gave. I don't know what has happened next, but we have decided not to go back there -- facing the unpleasantness from some staff members is not for us. It's very sad as we used to be regulars and have memories there, and post-Covid still looked on it as a place to relax, but that staff member was so extraordinarily unpleasant that we cannot return.

Very disappointing trip to Kirkstall Bridge Inn on Sunday about 3:30pm, decided to pop in for food after doing some shopping around the corner. There was plenty of empty tables, so me and my partner took a seat and looked at the Sunday lunch menu to decide what we would have. I got up to go to the bar and order, only to be abruptly informed that if we hadn't booked we couldn't order food. I find it absolutely ridiculous that a pub offering Sunday lunch can't accept any walk in customers, especially when the place is literally half empty. If this sort of thing is common practice nowadays, then no wonder so many pubs and restaurants are complaining about the potential of going out of business in the current financial climate, when the are literally turning away custom!
