Lovely relaxed atmosphere with really attentive staff! Delicious food and we were even given complementary baklava for dessert! Definitely worth a visit 😋

Absaloutly what I expected from these type of restaurants in leicester now ...
The free starters bread dips ... great as it sounds, the dips looked and tasted awfull ... the white dip was not kept at the right temperature and soon as It touched my lips ..alergy attack ! I dont know what crap was in it but it did not taste right ! Cutting corners right ?
The mains well I never wanted rice .. I am prediebetic and I'm gluten intolerant.. I wanted grilled mince meat with salad that's it !!! ..Not rocket science i said to the waitress ... (she served up the rice ) ... well the rice looked awfull and tasted bad ... I am a chef i had to taste it .
I would certainly advice that you to look Into your Ingradients . please do not cut corners .
Your cold temperatures are not consistant , you can tell in taste of the food . You are not recording or mointering your frdges and freezers ....your dips can do serious harm served at warm tepretures let alone anything you provide !
Your bread is not made from the heart you can taste it .... sorry
I will certainly update if I see any improvements on my next visit .
Your serving staff waiters amd waitress are amazing but they need to listen to the customer, if they do not want something they should be able to adjust regardless! ..you are lucky to have them .

It might be my second or third comment for Konak but it is a perfect place for dining! Service is quick, foods are delicious. They also give you free small dips and pitas so you can start with them while you’re waiting your main dish. After your meal they offer Turkish tea with delight 😍😍 ahh. Andddd this time they offered Baklava too which was fresh and delicious!!
Just book a reservation before you go there. It is always busy and you might wait 1 hour ish to have a table.

We are Turkish food junkies. Having a lot of Turkish friends as well we are always looking for an excuse to go for Turkish food.
This time we travelled to Leicester to have go to Mandi house but found Konan and decided to try this.
We got a table quite quick but then once we ordered food the serving in my wife's Chicken Shish was just a single skewers broken in half. For 18 quids come one a rip off .you get a better serving in London.
My mixed platter was ok but getting plain boiled Basmati rice was not something I was expecting. Should have been the Baldo.
Ayran was bland.
The service was extremely slow and we waited for 15 to 20 minutes just to get nan bread with 4 reminders.
Only good thing was the Salad.

Service too slow and confusing. Made my food go cold. Taste wasn't bad but rice used was not baldo Turkish rice infact basmati rice. I was hoping for Turkish baldo rice. Atmosphere nice . Service needs to be improved immediately.

Excellent delicious food, I can recommend the Lamb & Chicken Shish Combo, comes with salad & bread, and rice or chips. Tender meat, balanced flavours & spices. Very tasty fresh ingredients, can recommend this & best Turkish food in Leicester.

Amazing Turkish food. The meat is in the perfect consistency and the sauces are just perfect. The service is kind and welcoming. The spices are added to the meats carefully and mixed well . The entrances aren’t too filling and are still good so you can still enjoy the main meal. This restaurant makes me want to visit Türkiye 🇹🇷🇹🇷

This is not just one of the best restaurants in Leicester but probably the best in the Midlands. They have the best Lamb Sharwama in the Uk. The service is always amazing and it is my sons best restaurant, he is there No.1 fan and it is his favourite place.
