What a night! This is not a cheap, quick bite however, this was the outline of my trip to Liverpool. I arrived a little early as my booking was at six however I wanted to see the city sliding into night life and I had my experience. I was seated to view the Liver building. To be completely open it made me tear up as I felt amazing! Looking at places I've been for past days and seeing the city settling down for the night was almost magical. I might sound emotional here, and emotional I was, however the way I looked at it it wasn't just a meal I paid for. It was the atmosphere, experience, treatment, the view and of course the food too! Food! Probably the best venison I ever had! Perfection! And lemon meringue was something. I didn't order any alcohol as I didn't want to spoil the tastes! That's how good the food was there! If I to return there I would probably go for seven meal tasting experience. Beautiful place, glad I chose it.

Service was great. Very attentive and friendly server. Drinks were nice, a bit pricey but to be expected. The views were amazing and it was nice and quiet, a lovely atmosphere for a relaxing drink.

The best afternoon tea I've ever had. My friend and I had a gluten free and a vegetarian afternoon tea, the food was delicious and imaginative all freshly made. The staff were amazing, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I could not fault anything about the whole experience and the views over the city are amazing

Venus pour le tea time c’était une super expérience. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Petit bémol pour les pâtisseries pas super fraîches et aussi bonnes qu’en France. Pour le reste c’était juste merveilleux, panorama sur la ville avec coucher de soleil. Je recommande

Disappointed. Booked for 10, had two round tables, a 6 & a 4 so the feel of a group dining experience was completely lost..even after us moving the tables closer together. Two meals cold, a third returned and my guest didn't eat. Albeit the staff where pleasant enough it just wasn't that fine dining experience. Drinks arrived but had to remind them that some where missing, more than once. As for the bill..£1460.00 no deduction for the returned meal, I removed the £150 service charge & they did then remove 1 meal. Overall the service was not as high as the restaurant was. The views over the City are excellent & you could sit there for hours. Would I go back..? Not unless I was invited & had to. So for those who say "did you tell them" yes on the night & I didn't really want to give a review on trip advisor but prior to this I emailed them on two emails they have & didn't even receive an acknowledgment.

Wow if ever you want to experience something so special as an afternoon tea ,thIs is one of the most beautiful and exciting places to go ! Amazing service Amazing food Amazing views So much food for 2 people really glad we went ! Would recommend it to everyone, absolutely fantastic experience. Booking is essential.
