Starters were lovely. Had halloumi, beef sausage, meatballs and taramasalata.
Calamari was a little too chewy and not crispy enough. The giant prawns were huge but I'm not sure how fresh they were, didn't have the crunch you'd like for this price.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Overall food was decent, if I were to return I'd probably steer away from the seafood and stick to the souvlaki etc.

Popped in yesterday for lunch absolutely delicious mixed kebabs. we ordered for 2 and when the food was served we could have fed 4. Lovely starter touches provided are excellent In short. Excellent service lovely food and plenty of it. We will Definitely be back to try the fish platter very reasonably priced and excellent value.

Popped in before a local show with no prior knowledge or booking.
Staff were fantastic, welcoming and friendly. Food was great, well prepared, well cooked and good portions (all left satisfied).
All in all a great experience in a friendly and warm environment, wouldn't hesitate to visit again if nearby!

We come here every year every year for our friends birthday. Every year is amazing, the food is incredible and the staff are amazing. We were looked after by Kyris and it was, as always an amazing might with great food and friends. Thanks for being ace year after year

Authentic Greek Experience!
Had an amazing time at Alexander the Great Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that truly make you feel like you're in Greece. The service was fantastic—Kyriakos took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with lovely Greek music that added to the experience. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine! Will be back for sure!

Had a fabulous meal , the service was great and Andy looked after us very well and recommended the Liver which was wonderful and to finish off flambed mango 🥭 delishous. Thank you Alexander the Great we will be back very soon

I can honestly say that this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in terms of quality, service, and quantity of food that you receive for the price. I could easily spend an entire evening at this restaurant exploring the menu over exploring London any day. Our server was Andy, and he made this one of the best restaurant experiences that I’ve ever had. Hoping I get the opportunity to come back just to eat here again.

Lovely fresh and tasty meal in a cosy and very bust restaurant. my stiffado dish melted in my mouth.
Vasili was so charming and attentive, a perfect host.

I had an incredible dining experience at Alexander the Great in Camden! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive, with a warm and welcoming team who made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
A special thank you to Alexander himself for making the experience even more memorable. His passion for great food and hospitality truly shines through. This is now my new favorite place to eat whenever I’m in Camden, and I can’t wait to return!

We came to Alexander the Great and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is perfect if you are looking for a chill and joyful experience, with enthusiastic & animated music & staff. We had a refreshing tomato soup and an indulgent salmon fillet.
For a little sweet treat, we got a 5 star nut and honey pastry! 🥮 👍
