Thought we were going for a few tapas and a glass of wine. After looking at the menu and spying on our neighbours tables, we ended up with a bottle of excellent wine and an absolute feast. Loved it! One of the best meals we’ve had in the past year.

The food was really good, but it's a shame that the service was poor. We arrived at 6 PM and were informed that we had a two-hour time slot, which was fine. However, at 7:30 PM, we were reminded that we needed to vacate the table by 8 PM, then reminded again at 7:43 PM, and once more at 7:50 PM — just as we were about to leave anyway.
I’ve been to Bala Baya before, albeit during lunchtime, and the service was great. I understand that during peak hours you need to turn over as many tables as possible, but that’s no excuse to rush your customers so bluntly when they are still well within their allocated time.

Absolutely beautiful experience, thank you for making me feel so well nourished and taken care of on my bday! We'll definitely be back soon. Also, highly recommend the fire grilled cabbage, it's perfection. ❤️

A very initimate food experience😍 it is very pricey and food portions are really small but it is worth an experience. The aubergine mess is out of the world!! We ended up ordering twice! Totally recommend that. Some vegetarian options!
The place is good but might be difficult to find it per google maps. It is in a small lane tucked quietly.
