Eataly London

I go there very often, it is obviously pricey but what a shame that.. the staff is rude and simply do not care about customers, they give them for granted, no efforts to gree them ir thank them, not at the till , not at the counter, not where you can buy pizza or bread... Giys please try to pretend and make an effort to show that you are not unhappy to work there!

Please keep it Italian, don't give the Indian jobs there, I am not against them but because all the people in London complained about the cleaning thing, clean is not in there dictionary.

🗨"The managers lead by example, and do what they say. It's different from other places I've worked. " This was the quiet response I got from a young male employee. On my way out, I stopped by a counter to ask about the day-to-day culture of the organisation. It was my 2nd or 3rd visit, and this time, I visited on my way home after an enjoyable business conference. Within seconds of arriving, I noticed how much it felt like a fun food adventure park, filled with amazing colours and ingredients!🎉 It reminded me why Italy's 'Eataly' feels special: there is something (food or gift) for EVERYONE, and each item, large or small, is beautifully crafted and presented for our delight. ✨️ Being here, even before purchasing an item, made me feel as though I was giving a gift to myself - without having to fly to Italy (less carbon footprint)! 💝 If I could make one recommendation? Visit on your own, at least once, to fully immerse yourself in the different foods from Eataly. The Eataly London offer is fourfold: Restaurants, Foodhall, Market, and a Cooking School. It is clear how intentional this brand is, in its aim to make food a joyful, loving, and creative experience. It succeeds in doing that! As someone with experience of premium food & drink brands, I was in my happy place walking around and studying their packaged products - confectionery, condiments, and more. With each find, I imagined how hard the owners, managers, and team on the ground must work to make (our) customer experience positively memorable. No organisation is perfect, but this operation is really impressive. That's why I asked the question on my way out. It's a good thing when customers and workers feel the same about a brand.✨️ I've another meeting nearby next week, so I'll come back for Easter gifts!🎁 🎁

Great food assortment but prices are extremely high! Good for a few pieces but there’s definitely better value for Italian food in London

Not just a restaurant! Eataly has two restaurants a food hall with fresh food cooked in front of you, multiple bars, a coffee counter serving Italian illy branded coffee, fresh orange juice, an Italian supermarket with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, caviar, cheeses, dried pasta, oils and vinegars and also a large variety of white, red and rose wines along with Italian spirits. Everything is truly Italian, love this place!

First time visiting #eatalylondon so much to see and temptations! We visited #pastaepizza but not had good experience. Service was lovely and the atmosphere/ view was great though it’s restaurant so food is more important. First… my knife had food residue and glass with lipstick mark on which asked to be changed. Then we ordered still water.. and smelled/ tasted like wet dogs… again.. had to be changed since waitress smelled the same 🤣 starter was tasty great and the main was even saltier than actual salt 🧂! 😖 I wasn’t full but had to stop… we got some discount at the end as they could see we didn’t even finish half of the plate 😢 we had to search for sweet dessert defo not from here 🤣

Fantastic Cooking Class Experience! Last week, I attended a fresh pasta cooking class with some friends, and it was an absolute delight! Under the guidance of Chef Ursula Ferrigno, we prepared egg-based tagliolini and tagliatelle from scratch, along with two delicious sauces: puttanesca and a flavorful Delica pumpkin-based creation. The experience, which lasts about two hours, was fantastic from start to finish—welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and ending with a "diploma" of participation. Ursula is truly radiant, and Mam is amazing; their personalities balance each other perfectly. The food we cooked together was simply delicious. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

I recently attended a cooking class at Eataly in London with some colleagues, and it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend. The class was led by Chef Ursula, a highly skilled and friendly Chef who effortlessly shared her love for Italy and its cuisine with us. We prepared Fresh Tajarin Pasta with Puttanesca Sauce and Fresh Tagliatelle with Pumpkin and Black Cabbage Cream. With the help of the chef's assistant too, Mam (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly), we navigated the cooking process smoothly. At the end of the class, we had the pleasure of enjoying the dishes we made, making the experience even more rewarding. The team was welcoming, professional, and passionate: a true journey through Italian flavours, right in the heart of London.

I went there with my friend for lunch. We had the best pizza con salsiccia in London! The pasta was also amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly, they even offered to take a photo of us. After we arrived we were seated straight away (we didn’t have a booking). Besides the incredible food, what blown us away was the fact that due to not seeing my friend for a long time we kept chatting even after the food arrived, the staff came and asked us if everything was okay since we haven't touched our meals yet, a few minutes go by and i dropped my knife on the floor, before I even managed to bend down someone was already there to pick it up and another person was there to replace it. I can not stress enough how incredible this service has been. After a bit of shopping which is more an experience in itself rather than just shopping, we went for a coffee and deserts which were incredibly delicious.

My friend and I were really looking forward to visiting! We left disappointed. Throughout the store there are signs saying how everything is cooked fresh and sold in store, yet the dish I ordered, with cod in, could not be adapted (I can't eat chilli) so my option was spaghetti and tomato sauce. The staff on entry were lovely! Our waiter was sullen, inattentive, and just shrugged when I asked if there was chilli in the dish (on the menu description, it doesn't say there's chilli in it). The tastiest thing I had was the homemade cola. The store looks amazing but I couldn't be bothered to shop after having such a poor experience in the restaurant. I rarely leave anything but a 5 star review but I felt that, with so many of us with allergies and intolerances, I should say it wasn't a very accommodating restaurant. Maybe I was just unlucky tonight and they're better other days.

I visited Eataly with my sister this evening and we had a wonderful evening. Emanuele was our server and he was fantastic, he was very attentive and close by when we needed him. He brought over a take away box for my left over pizza without needing to ask. Fantastic service and a fantastic evening. Thank you!

Came in for lunch yesterday, nice place and decor and good atmosphere. Had to wait, chase many times for service...very slow. Had pasta ricotta/spinach, pasta was lovely and fresh but dish very very dry and filling tasted old. Came very quick so I think it had been under a heat lamp for a while and not made fresh. Pricey for what it is... Would not go back as many better options around for higher quality and lower price.

If you want good pizza and fair prices, go somewhere else. I tried Eataly London after a great experience at their New York location, but this visit was disappointing. The pizza was poor and overpriced. The dough resembled bread rather than authentic Italian pizza. As someone from Naples, I can confidently say it’s nothing like the real thing. If you want authentic pizza in London, head to 50 Kalò. Don’t be misled by positive reviews - they may come from people who’ve never had true Italian pizza. Despite having a reservation, the three of us were squeezed into a table for two with an extra chair, even though multiple large tables were available. This setup was common across the restaurant (with many tables for two used for three guests), something you'd expect from a cheap diner or a fully booked venue - not the case here. The entire place, both the restaurant and shops, is extremely overpriced. Adding to the disappointment was a misleading 20% discount offer. It was intentionally vague, suggesting the discount applied to the current visit, when it actually applies only to a second visit if you bring the original receipt. Who really keeps receipts from previous dinners? An employee admitted they’re aware of the confusion, but it might be kept that way to attract customers. On a positive note, the service was good, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. One thing is certain: I won’t be returning.

We dined at the Pasta and Pizza restaurant with a group. The service was fairly good but the food an absolute trainwreck - the sort of meal that makes me wonder if I'm being pranked. The fish main was overpriced and not as described on the menu (missing dish components). The chips, advertised as 'chunky' and 'triple-cooked', were the sort of cheap supermarket chips you can get at any kebab shop and certainly not fried more than once. And what is 'aioli mayo' supposed to be? The dip was just mayo, without any garlic either. The only actually tasty dish was the broccoli side, which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu is quite uninspired too. Just your run of hte mill Italian fare with nothing out of the ordinary. Including some things that are not Italian at all, such as hummus. Overall - food overpriced and so bad one has to wonder how this place is a successful chain.
