What a filled house ! Another Victorian who collected the world, studied it and then it became a time capsule when he died. There is so much to see that it can feel overwhelming as to which part of the wall, floor, ceiling, cabinet to look at next !
Get there before opening to avoid the queues that form. You cannot take large bags and rucksacks must be checked. Any handbag must fit within a standard size plastic bag (to stop you knocking anything over)

Truly amazing, but when it's busy it's really hard to get from one room to the other. You can't really stand to soak in the details.
We bought the booklet as there are no information plaques but I was still hoping to find more specific information of paintings or sculptures in it.

Very eclectic collection. A huge amount to see, very compressed to fit it all in. The Picture Room, see it when the concealed doors are open, well worth it

Didn't get in, 2 hour wait in a 50 yard queue, got there at 12, then the train home after 3 day's away was at 4.30, guide said 2-3 hours to go round.
Midweek sounds better.

Es un museo curioso. Se puede decir que es un museo arqueológico, dentro de una casa. Si tienes poco tiempo y es tu primera vez en Londres, dejalo para otra ocasión.
