Went for the LSE student sports night, and while the venue itself had potential for a great night out, the experience was tainted by poor crowd management and unhelpful staff. The queue was chaotic, borderline dangerous, and my friend lost her phone in the mess. When she asked for help, a staff member shockingly told her to leave instead of offering any support—leaving a young, intoxicated woman alone in London without a phone.
The night would have been a complete disaster if not for Paulina, the one staff member who genuinely cared. She took my friend’s concerns seriously, helped locate the phone within minutes, and showed the level of customer service we should have received from the start. If all the staff had been like her, this would be a 5-star review.

Nice venue but strange staff with even stranger people!! I would never return as I felt extremely unsafe and I couldn't even have a good time because my safety wasn't even prioritised. As a woman in London I am shocked to have experienced a night like this where even the security were harassing me!!! Absolutely disgraceful.

Saw a great show... Performance was excellent and well worth it! The bar was chaotic and they had problems with the electronic system, but the drinks were very well made, and well priced. The poor staff looked like they'd rather be somewhere else.

worst club i’ve ever been to. bad music, bad atmosphere, waited 40minutes to buy an overpriced drink, people spilling drinks on eachother and pushing, and the club event promised inflatables ect and there was nothing! what a scam

we were essentially kicked out of the club by the bouncers and were not allowed back in. The reason given was “being drunk,” but none of us were actually intoxicated—we were simply enjoying ourselves and having a good time. The bouncers were rude, unprofessional, and displayed a shocking lack of basic decency or education. Honestly, I feel sorry for them. It’s disappointing to see people abuse what little authority they have to such an extent. Truly sad. Avoid this club unless you’re looking to have a terrible night.

Only 1 person at the bar, prices are ridiculous and they add a 15%tip to each transaction without asking you so check before you pay! I tried to query why i paid £41 for 2 g&t’s but the guy just insisted its correct and walked off, i worked out the added tip after

Came here for a Christmas party on the weekend had an absolute blast!! Thank you to the bar staff and security for making it such a pleasant night.
Especially my sister was sick and the lady security was so sweet being very patient with us thank you.

Avoid this place at all costs—unless you enjoy chaos and homophobia
We booked Sway Bar in London for a birthday party, and it turned into an absolute shambles. To start, we were moved to a different room without warning, leaving us hanging for 45 minutes and losing precious DJ time we had paid for. When we finally got into the new room, the DJ decks didn’t even work, and no one helped us sort it out. More lost time, more frustration.
As if that weren’t enough, the one person manning the bar kept wandering off in the first hour, so queues quickly built up. We couldn’t even order bar snacks downstairs to soften the blow of this mess.
The real kicker, though, was the behaviour of the bouncers. A guest was thrown out simply for “acting gay,” under the laughable excuse that he was “too drunk.” Let me be clear—he wasn’t. He stood outside, stone-cold sober, for hours just trying to get his jacket back, but they refused. When I spoke up to defend him, I was kicked out too, verbally abused by the bouncers, and my brother—who didn’t say or do anything remotely aggressive—was manhandled by four bouncers and dragged out. It felt less like a party and more like a power trip for the security team.
This wasn’t a nightclub; it was a private birthday party. No one had an issue with the “too drunk” guest apart from the bouncers, who seemed determined to ruin the night. I can’t stress enough how unsafe they made me feel.
To top it all off, we had to beg to get the deposit back, and it took an entire month for them to cough it up.
Sway Bar managed to ruin a special event with unprofessionalism, broken equipment, and outright discriminatory behaviour. Don’t waste your money or your time here—it’s not worth the stress.

Great venue and very pretty. Went to an organised dance event there which was held downstairs. Security was very nice and polite, as so was the lovely receptionist. Felt very welcome and overall great night out.

Security being racist one of the white guy and mixes race guy being racist to us and he s some asian guys comes to party try to push us and humiliate us and laughing and telling us about rule about india clubbing that was very rude these type of ppl shouldn’t be of be oj security or in this country who are raciste

La seguridad de este sitio abusan su poder. Mi amigo salió un segundo de la discoteca por equivocación y no lo volvieron a dejar entrar sin motivo, aunque él tenía la pulsera puesta. Un amigo intentó hablar con ellos y lo sacaron de la fila para luego inmovilizarlo y tirarlo al suelo entre cuatro guardias. Servicio pésimo y la supuesta manager decía que no podía hacer nada al respecto y que le daba igual lo que decíamos.
