A must-visit for anyone interested in Impression; a small but mighty collection.

Quelle belle surprise que cette galerie. Un étage spécifique à l'impressionnisme qui m'a beaucoup plu. Le prix est très correct au vu des tableaux exposés.

"This place is a must-visit for those traveling to London and interested in art. An impressive collection of... Impressionists."

Having visited the Gallery in the past, l was keen to see it post revamp. But l was disappointed. It's an interesting building with many corners, staircases and doors - there must be more, l thought. But, no, three simple galleries and a beautiful shop. An excellent lift, and the occasional glimpse of the great outside through a window. My main interest is the Impressionists and l am pleased to know this is the largest collection of Cezannes. But, somehow, that room seemed dull, flat. Perhaps because of the colour of the walls - white. It was good to see a favourite Van Gogh, and a Cezanne l wasn't familiar with, but otherwise l was not excited. The Van Gogh is one l first saw in the Courtauld about 60 years ago, when the gallery was in its previous location.

Amazing collection, but the exhibition space is too small

Goya to impressionism. This is a 5 star plus exhibition and to have some of my very favourite paintings in one exhibit was just amazing yet I had a terrible experience because there was far far too many people allowed to enter/tickets sold. It was packed with people all jostling to see these amazing works when what was really required was time and space to enjoy each one.
