The pub was ok but the unisex toilets are a disgrace. Customers looked confused at having to use the same bathroom. They are in a secluded area so don’t feel safe. My toilet had graffiti on it announcing “girl is who stand to piss”. The floor was soggy and slopped. Overall not a nice experience.

Great pub in Kings Cross, stopped off for a lunch and had a really tasty Chicken Burger, staff were all really friendly.

The food is a little too fatty, especially the fried dishes but the service is fast and nice.
The ambiance is great : a real english pub as we like.
This is a perfect place to drink a bear before or after your trip !
If you want a place to sit and eat something, we recommend to book a table, it will be reserved for 90minuted.

Possibly the worst roast I’ve ever had. No flavour, watery gravy, not enough veg, chewy beef, rock hard veggie option & it took forever to arrive. Really disappointing especially considering they’re priced over £20 each!

I came here as part of a group and wasn't expecting much. It was a Sunday and we got the Sunday menu (which was more expensive than the weekday one which looks pretty good value at £18 for 2 courses).
I ordered the fish and chips reluctantly as I didn't want/trust the other dishes. It comes with a sorry tiny portion of mushy peas which I hate and asked them to change for cabbage. I prefer to order fish and chips in a specialist place because they do a particular style of chips that restaurants can never replicate.
Unexpectedly it was the best fish and chips I'd had for years, even if the chips were not "real" chippy chips, they were nice nevertheless and the fish was very fresh and in a light, crispy, non oily batter. My cabbage was delicious too.
It came with tartare sauce (could be better, but ok), curry sauce (I don't touch the stuff but it was over microwaved and dry) and the mushy peas I saw on other people's plates was the same, and a ridiculously tiny portion too, completely token. Those were my only complaints.
Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal except the roast beef which he had asked for medium rare, one piece was well done (sitting under a heat lamp too long) the other very rare and he said that the meat was rather fatty. I didn't order a roast as the potatoes looked soggy and they were just sitting in gravy in the bowl. The roast chicken was huge and the bangers and mash all got eaten.
The toilets were not perfectly clean (unisex, always a nightmare, the toilet seats were horrid), but they didn't smell and the pub was busy so I count that as a win. Unisex toilet seats are really hard to keep clean for the ladies, bad idea from a cleanliness point of view.

Didn’t eat so can’t score food. But service was good, great atmosphere for a pub by main rail station. Booked a table and it was ready and easy to find when we turned up. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others

Had a lovely roast dinner, only thing that could have been improved was the roasties, they was a little hard and luke warm. Can forgive it though with the giant yorkie, the lovely service and warm atmosphere, its one of my favourite pubs/eateries.

The music is FAR TOO LOUD.
We persuaded a waitress to turn it down despite orders she works under insisting that they keep the music so loud that you have to shout to be heard by the person next to you.
I spotted someone else asking for the music to be turned down.
We had intended to have a meal there, but with the warning that the music would be turned up once the bar manager got wind that it was at a reasonable level, we decided to finish our first drinks and leave.

Excellent venue to hold a party. The private bar upstairs is the perfect size, has its own private bar and you can play your own music! the food/party boards were delicious but wish I’d had more information of how much to order for my party size and would be good to have some photos of the food options on your website to give people an idea how much to cater for! The staff were super friendly and helpful too! Would definitely hold another party here again! Thanks so much to Ellie for sorting everything out on the night!!

Much better than it needs to be, given the location. Cool staff, edible food, good beer, pub atmosphere and plenty of seating.
Not a destination I would travel for; but certainly somewhere I would go if I was thirsty with friends in KingsX.

Very nice pub v close to Kings Cross Station.
We had the set menu which was good value (£18 two courses).
Will definitely return.

I liked it here. The service was very friendly and polite, its was a VERY busy day that we went and whilst there were only 2 bar staff, both did a great job and if they couldn’t get to you quickly they let you know they were coming.
The burgers were great and everyone liked them, the fries were OK but quite hard and small/inconsistent portions, we also had quite a fiddly order due to allergies but they got it all right. I did think the food was quite expensive for what it was though. Drinks options are excellent there.
Good atmosphere and nice decor, it would definitely be better on a quieter day and I would go back there as they did well with the volume of people they had so I know it would be better in quieter times.
