Had such a fab time at The Garden Gate this weekend. Despite the business, the lovely host was able to find us a table in the sun to watch the rugby. Fab fish and chips as well. Thank you The Garden Gate 👍

I went for a drink with my friends, never been there, but it was so amazing we stayed longer and tried their Sunday roast! It was fantastic, and all the staff were so busy but they accommodated us so well and made sure we are well taken care of! Highly recommend!

Such an amazing pub bar to enjoy your drink and eat tasty fresh food. The portions were big enough and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the view outside. The staff was very polite. Prices a bit expensive.

Came in on a bustling Saturday night, the atmosphere was amazing and so was the food. It was great seeing vegetarian options on the menu, the veggie sausage and mash was filling and flavourful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

It was a busy Sunday. The place is very good but they were not prepared for all the people that came. Run out of roast and other starters. The host was absolutely lovely and helpful, but the waiters were very rushed, understandably of course. Food was good 👍🏻

Managed to squeeze in on a Sunday around lunchtime without a reservation and had a top tier roast. Such a nice atmosphere and so many cute doggies around!

was here about 2 years ago food was awful
decided to give it another chance only 1 person behind the bar took over 5 mins to get served wasn't really busy but they were so slow when food came it wasn't seasoned at all bland is an understatement
i will never be back
it's not cheap avoid much better places in the area
