What an amazing place! Stunning works of art, polite staff, good location, and admission is free. Talk to the security around the property as a lot of them are very knowledgable in the pieces they have. I would come back and would definitely recommend!

A wonderful collection of antiquities of all sorts: weapons, armors, decorated plates, pots, clocks, a lot of beautiful paintings of all sizes, sculptures and the rooms are extremely well kept. There is no ticket, however donations are welcome.

Lovely exhibition but I agree with the other one star reviews .. utterly rude staff. Clearly no one interested in reviews as comments on staff go back 5 years plus and clearly nothing has changed.. I checked because I thought it was just me. I got yelled at by a non British member of staff .. and I agree that many people feel that the staff are racist ..but I’m white and got yelled at too …

Wow, this place knocked my socks off! Fantastic house, if you can call it that! Wonderful rooms, stunning art. The Canalettos were amazing. We had a cream tea in the courtyard cafe, too. Great to have lockers for coats. We will be back!

A Hidden Gem in the City – The Wallace Collection The Wallace Collection is a true hidden gem in the heart of the city. It’s cozy, with a peaceful ambiance that makes it the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest and enjoy a peaceful moment in the city centre, this is the ideal location. Highly recommend for anyone who keen on art, collection and also cosy places. The café itself is stunning—elegant, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind. However, the service is a real letdown. The staff are rude and unhelpful, which is such a shame for a place of this type. I had planned to enjoy dinner while also getting some work done on my laptop, but instead of assisting me, one of the staff members placed me in an area where I couldn’t even order a coffee. When I asked, I was told I had to move to another section for dinner service and they did not pay any attention at all. I've put 5 star just for museum not for cafe's staff.

Incredible collection, available for free (or optional donation). Two levels of stately ornate rooms with a range of pieces on display. Art, sculptures, fien ceramics, sniff boxes, armour, the list continues. Definitely recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Stunning and Luxurious! The Wallace Collection is an absolute gem in the heart of London! From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by luxury, history, and breathtaking art. The galleries are filled with priceless paintings, exquisite furniture, and incredible armor, all displayed in a beautifully preserved historic townhouse. Every room feels like stepping into a royal palace—rich colors, intricate details, and an atmosphere of pure elegance. Best of all, entry is completely free! Whether you’re an art lover, a history enthusiast, or just looking for a unique and beautiful place to visit, this museum is an absolute must-see. Highly recommend! 🌟

What a gem! Understated and free to visit, full of interesting Rococo period interiors and artefacts, but above all (for me at least) some fantastic paintings. From several Rembrandts to a roomful of Canaletto and his disciples, to Murillo, Velasquez and a number of Flemish painters. And thats not all, I’ll leave some surprises for you. Allow two-three hours.

Wonderful collection of gorgeous art. There are a lot of rooms to explore, the rooms themselves are beautifully decorated and then there's wonderful art, weapons and armour to look at throughout. It's definitely worth a visit, especially as it's free. We went on a Saturday and it was still fairly quiet despite being in such an accessible area of London.
