Went to the exhibition that they had called “Islamic art world” I wish they had more stuff to showcase, they only had stuff from Iran and turkey, they could’ve brought artifacts from North Africa and Islamic Spain and they’re very interesting.

Visited yesterday in gorgeous winter sun. Food stalls outside, perhaps to reflect the Islamic art connection. Inside the light and airy Georgian house, a truly inspiring celebration of William Morris, who was the mainstay of the Arts and Crafts movement, environmentalist, feminist and more. The exhibition of beautiful islamic artwork was a bonus. Thank you to the wonderful friendly staff.

Fantastic free museum with exhibitions about Morris life and work plus work of other artists.
It was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon but still possible to view and enjoy.

Charming and really interesting visit. Beautiful house set in a lovely park that tells the fascinating story of an exceptional man. Lovely and friendly staff on hand to give information and answer questions. Free to visit but contributions welcomed. Very nice boutique.

Beautiful gallery dedicated to William Morris (1834-1896). Morris lived here front 1848 to 1856. I loved the current exhibition on the influence of Islamic art on William Morris. The exhibition makes a compelling case that Islamic art had a strong influence on William Morris. I also enjoyed the videos by contemporary muslim artists talking about the subject. Great gift store.

Beautiful place, although I've never been. Please, don't freak out over drone photograph, it gives amazing perspectives of the beautiful grounds and building and the surrounding area. Besides he did the right thing, he made you aware. Anyway, I look forward to making the journey and visiting. Thank you

It is a beautiful gallery with some outstanding art and design work by William Morris. It has a large outside green space/park near woods. It has a small cafe with friendly staff and hot food and beverages. I loved visiting the Gallery and the ongoing exhibition on William Morris and Islamic Art.
