Absolutely loved this place. Fun for children but also a great introduction to museums for them. Loads to see and mostly free. Not too crowded at all either

The Young V&A is a stunning museum for children and families that inspires creativity, learning and exploration. Following a major refurbishment of the former Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, the site has become even more interactive, modern and engaging.

Free entrance to a museum catered for children to imagine, design, and play. The cab ride from Central London is not short (40 minutes without traffic!) but it’s worth seeing with your kids on a rainy day. The café has a phenomenal fig and sunflower side cookie that you shouldn’t miss!

The museum has changed over the years. It's more of an activity centre for children than a museum now. Still a couple of hours of the day out for the kids.

Fantastic Museum.
Plenty of things for kids to discover, with a design section. Easily accessible.
They also have a Cafe and rest area.

It was really brilliant. I loved that it did try hard to accommodate all ages of children.
I loved the dolls houses and mini worlds!
I loved how they showed what you gain from all different types of toys.
It's very inspiring and well worth a trip. We were in there about 3 hours.
Cafe is quiet basic but coffee was nice and proper cups so that made me happy!
