"Argyle on tour" I have been to more "Spoons " than can recall but I do know this is up their with the worst. Nothing redeeming and even the real ale "Doom bar" was not very good. It ramped up in the early evening with football fans and they stopped the ordering of food and drinks on the App as they didn't have sufficient staff.....not that they actually told anyone. Toilets, unlike most Spoons, was rank and disgusting. Sorry...no photos....nothing redeeming....at all !!

This pub has become my go-to spot for breakfast. The meals are consistently delicious and offer great value for money. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to start the day. Its convenient location adds to the appeal. Ordering through their app is a breeze, and the food always arrives promptly. Highly recommend!

Food was served quickly after ordering in the App. It was hot and nicely cooked good value for money. Was busier than normal due to football but there was plenty of staff on. Just need to clean the tables more often.

I just had to write a review about what a fantastic Spoons this is, especially in stark contrast to the Gary Cooper.
Food was very well cooked and presented, so quick in under 15 minutes during a breakfast service. Drinks were lightning fast, like 3 minutes.
Staff were also an absolute delight, happy and efficient. Gentleman misbehaving drunkenly swiftly dealt with without a fuss.
The pub itself is also gorgeous and was full of characters. We will be coming back now we don't have to bother with the shocking standards at the GC

I'm a fan of Spoons, but I'd probably not visit here again. The food and drink were fine - good value, and served quickly and with a smile. So 5* to the serving staff. My problem was that the guy at the table next to us was clearly selling drugs via his phone. He had a large rucksack conveniently placed on a chair opposite, possibly so 1) He could deny it was his if challenged and 2) make a dash for the nearby exit (next to the table he was sat at). He didn't eat or drink anything all evening, nor was there a glass or plate on his table. However, despite dealing as blatantly as I've ever seen the security guards ignored him every time they walked past. I may be wrong, but it made me feel uncomfortable.

This was just a random stop while wasting time for a connecting flight from London luton airport turned out to be good food was good staff friendly and not your typical walk to the toilet in a weatherspoons
