Great value, can easily spend a couple of hours in the first visitors centre, before moving on to the others. Then there is the Lovell Telescope itself, which is mesmerising even when not moving. The outside educational equipment is also good fun. The cafes are good value with quality products. If the weather is decent, then a wander around the Arboretum is highly recommended.

Great day out. Interesting exhibitions and well curated. I'm into astrophysics but my wife isn't and she wants to go back again. Buy ticket online and you get a year pass so brilliant value for money.

What a truly fascinating place for a few hours visit! The buzz upon driving in was replicated inside with such welcoming and friendly staff, excellent informative interactive exhibitions, lots of grounds to walk around and a very well priced with delicious food and drink in the cafe. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Telescope walk, taking you around the impressive and very large Lovell Telescope, which we were lucky enough to see move! If you're a fan of Space, bucketlist to come here. Tickets well priced too!

A super place with absolutely brilliant exhibitions. Very involving and lots to keep kids entertained (5+ possibly). Day we visited it was very very busy hence 4 stars. School holidays.

Amazing place to visit, however can't leave 5 stars as saddened that you have little care for animals.
I have tried to raise this to you, but no response as yet. On Wednesday a dog was distressed whilst left inside a car on your carpark, barking at visitors. Your staff who guide people where to park could have encouraged the owners to visit another time when the dog is safe at home, rather than trapped in a car. The owners are of course in the wrong, however your staff should surely encourage visitors to not leave animals unattended left inside cars and ask anyone with pets in their cars to leave. This was not a small nor quiet dog. It was sad to see and raises the question why your staff allowed this to happen.

Great tourist attraction, suitable for kids and adults. Loads of information, not too technical for people who are new to astronomy.
We had a perfect sunny day, so good photo opportunities. Lovely short walks with information boards. Plenty of benches.
The staff were well informed and helpful.
The film, We Are Stars, was interesting and gave a good background from the big bang to now.
Cafe food was delicious, with good choices.
We spent 3 1/2 hours there.
