Fantastic cafe... With fantastic views. Superb polite professional smartly dressed staff. Superb value breakfast.. with tea and toast included..very tasty. Also the museum is a must..a steal at only £2.50 a head. The toilets have to be the cleanest toilets in the world. Shed loads of parking and you are about 10 foot away from the beach!!! Actually don't go...stay away...what have I said!!! You will make it harder for us "locals" to get a seat..😂

Newbiggin Maritime Centre is a great place to find out where to go and what to see in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. It has a cafe, a souvenir shop and a compact museum that introduces local history. There's also a community centre. I thoroughly enjoyed an informative conversation with the fella working on the desk.

Lovely cafe and nice art gallery gift shop. But the toilets absolutely stink. The location is excellent, I'm sure this small problem could be fixed

Very nice promenade side building with great views over newbiggin bay. Busy little beach, very popular cafe with c comfortable seating and large windows allowing lots of sunshine too. Free car park behind centre with disabled bays. Not sure if electric charging points at site.

To be honest we didn't know what to expect, but was surprised, we actually enjoyed the Museum. As I'm disabled, my partner had to pay £2.50 . When you see the opening of the museum it looked very small, but it is like a tardis! The history of fishing, RNLI and other facts and history of the sea in Newbiggin on sea. There is kids dress up, colouring, and other kids activities for the kids to do. Totally recommend. There is a a cafe, in which we didn't go in, a lovely gift shop, toilets and an art & craft fair was happening at the same time. There is a huge car park adjacent to the Museum and is disabled friendly path & the museum. If you go by St Bartholomews church there are stairs only.

Very interesting to find out about the history of Newbiggin, the old restored lifeboat and the children liked the dressing up area. Onside cafe was reasonable. Only downside on our visit was the displayed opening times showed from 4th Nov and not current so was a surprise to find lights being switched off and gift shop closed before we left.
