I highly recommend Premier Inn, Newbury. Wonderful staff, quiet location, good food and very comfortable room. Centrally located. But it's the staff who make all the difference - my favourite Premier by far!!!!

Nice hotel as always with Premier Inn. The chef cooked very good quality food with no issues but the restaurant staff are slow to take your order and look at the floor when walking around to avoid you catching their attention. I’ve stayed here 4 times now and it has been the same each time. Also this time I stayed there was no one on reception when I arrived and after pressing the button for assistance multiple times over a few minutes someone from the restaurant noticed and came out. Much better service in the other town centre Premier Inn but I prefer this hotel due to the large car park.

We came to your hotel for my daughter’s birthday party and the overall experience was really amazing. Chef Tony went above and beyond with the food and presentation. He made a special brownie plate for my daughter with happy birthday written on it. My daughter was so happy and thankful for that. Special mention to Sheenu, the duty manager, she was very professional and welcoming. Thank you for everything.

Cannot comment on rooms as we only eat there. Location is very good approx 300 yards to the high street. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food was very good.

Stayed Sunday & Monday for 2 nights. Very good central location for Newbury town centre (2 minute walk). Paid parking almost opposite in well lit underground car park. Nice welcome by reception staff. Room was as expected. Clean, comfortable & free hand-wash & shower gel. Comfortable bed. Good towels. Tea/coffee sachets. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Carlos the head chef is an asset to this Premier Inn and greeted guests and checked everything was ok. A thank you to chef Tony as well who gave us freshly cooked bacon & eggs. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. Choice of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, crumpets, pancakes, preserves. Thank you Premier Inn Newbury for a great stay.

Good value, helpful staff, clean room, and paid parking walking distance down the road. Also, remarkably good breakfast! Carlos the cook will even poach eggs for you.

Such a kind and welcoming Staff. The hospitality is great. The food is amazing too and has a wide variety to choose from. Chef Tony really cooks great food. The room comes at a good price too.

Friendly staff on arrival and throughout the stay. Room clean, bed really comfortable and great choice for breakfast. The only thing that I would say is that I would prefer a walk in shower, as I have arthritis and lights as you get out of the lift not on and it was dark. But overall well pleased with my stay and would recommend Premier to friend and family

As we didn't stay in the rooms, I can't comment on them but I would like to share that my husband and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, made even nicer by the wonderful hospitality we received. Carlos was so friendly and nothing seemed to be a problem for him and we'll definitely be back!

We just walked in for breakfast here with my friends. The staff are very nice and very approachable, especially the CHEF. The food is really nice. We definitely try to book and stay in the room. And try again their breakfast.

I've not rated the rooms as we went just for breakfast. The hospitality was amazing! The chef Carlos went above and beyond and made us many poached eggs, served to the table with a smile. You could see he loved his job and making food to make people smile. In the words of my 6 year old 'these eggs are delicious' as was the rest of the breakfast. We will definitely come back for breakfast again.

I read ahead the reviews before my trip here with work for four nights. What stood out for me were the reviews around breakfast, the chef and team. This morning I met Carlos, a brilliant personality and so helpful and certainly such a proud addition to the team. Top marks. He even brought out an additional selection of cheese for my French colleague to enjoy her breakfast with.

Location is excellent but the room I was given was just awful! (Ground floor)
The smell of damp was everywhere it was absolutely terrible. I’ve stayed in a few premier inns but this is one I will never return to.
