Attended for a running event, Beautiful park, plenty parking, although very pricey compared to other parks which resulted in loads of cars parking on the road and surrounding area causing traffic chaos when exiting.

Lovely views, clean environment, decent people. Paid for parking twice, once at the machine near the toilets and again at the barrier where the system didn't recognize we'd paid at the machine so we were double charged which is quite sneaky. All in all a good experience.

We love it here. The facilities are decent and there is plenty of parking. Toilets are clean and the cafe has different options of food/drink. There is a smaller park and a larger park not far from the lake itself.

Great place for a walk, there are play and education places for kids and the cafe does a an excellent lunch.

Nice facilities, bistro, ice cream shop and toilets. Paths are layer out and marked for distance and suitable for buggies, wheelchairs and even uour dogs. You can spend an hour or a day thear though parking is £2ph. There is a kids play area and picnic benches aswell as seating around the trails

Just paid £3 for a 1 hour run round an industrial lake. If you think your amenities are worth that, you’re wrong. Won’t be coming back again. Second star was for the fire service memorial and pathways

Great visit. End of January 2025 Walked the whole 7 mile cycle route around most of the reservoir. No flooding despite the recent wet weather. Parking is efficient, pay just before leaving £2 for up to first hour and £1 for every hour afterwards with numberplate recognition and various forms of payment, credit card contactless worked fine. We arrived 11.30am walked clockwise and saw treecreeper at 3pm and barn owl at 4pm just before the end in addition to water birds. Wednesday, dry, not very busy, only spoiled a bit by a irresponsible walker's spaniel on the loose chasing geese despite the dogs on leads policy, there should be notices threatening fines to deter this behaviour.
