Dropped into Zizzi Norwich on spur of the moment for lunch. Good decision. Food great, service brilliant.
Special mention to Lawrence: attentive, courteous and diligent. Great asset to the staff at this restaurant.

Once upon a time a restaurant would come round with the parmesan or other hard cheese to add. Sadly restaurants like this have got lazy and just whack it on whether you like it or not. We don't. And it wasn't mentioned on the menu. Easily remedied but they make it sound like they're doing you a big favour remaking it for nothing. Otherwise food and service was OK. Would return.

EXCELLENT cannot fault this was our loveliest day out Great food great service quick polite nothing to much trouble even though they were very busy very high standard of food, presentation and staff efficient friendly and kind we loved it 6 of us but they fitted us in too so all the more impressed expected to have to wait or service would be slow far from it very impressed food was delicious also liked the 3 course for children

Out for a meal with my family which is hard to get us all together. We had a wonderfully enjoyable evening. Our waitress was Kaci. She was very friendly, helpful and even laughed at my husbands jokes! So she needs a pay rise just for that…. The food was amazing. We all had different and every plate was delicious and hot. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be back. Thank you Kaci. Keep up the good work…

In a great location right by the cathedral and very accessible. The atmosphere was calm and friendly, and our waiter Laurence was brilliant and so helpful! Lots of choices for food and drink, including a great kids menu. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

We had this wonderful waitress Anna, who was very kind and patient with us. We arrived about an hour late and was still seated which was very lucky for me and my girlfriend and we’re very grateful for the experience and the food was delish

The food is just poor. Not awful I-can't-eat-this bad but not good enough to justify the price. They need a new pizza chef - the dough is stodgy and hard where it should be chewy and stretchy. Maybe low quality ingredients rather than bad cooking, who knows. Soft drinks ('refreshers' and 'coolers') taste like children's weak squash. Everything is just a poor man's version of the real thing. İt was disappointing, but the enraging thing was a small metal tin half-filled with shop bought frozen fries - for £4.85!! The one bright spot was the staff, who were extremely polite. I had no idea it was a chain, thought a genuine Italian, but will avoid all Zizzis from now on 🙄

Placed on order for 2045 delivery at midday, still not here at 2210, after constantly ringing, got told it would be leaving in next 5-10 mins at 2145. Still potentially could be up to 2235! I drove to the restaurant which was about 3 miles from my address, when I turned up there our order hadn’t even been started! Was in the restaurant at 2245, our order hadn’t even been started! I was raging at this point as we have to plan stuff with meals as my wife has hypoglycaemia and her levels started to drop. Will never order delivery from here again and would highly recommend no one does either, order thrown together so food not as nice as it usually is. Thank you Zizi’s Norwich for successfully ruining our Valentines night!!

We unfortunately booked Zizzi's for valentines day, our table was booked for 20:00, and the booking stated we had the table until 21:00. On arrival we joined a queue of about 10 other couple who all had the same booking time, and the restaurant was absolutely packed, meaning there was no where for us to go.
We eventually got a table, and could hear people asking staff how long their food was going to be.
The menu was set at 3 courses and, although the food tasted lovely, the waits were ridiculous. Our mains arrived at 22:15 and we finally left around 23:00 (booking stated we had to leave by 21:00).
The atmosphere by the end just felt horrible, looking around to see other unhappy couples and hearing the conversations of how long they had been waiting.
The floor staff were very apologetic, and our waitress Martha was amazing and worked soo hard all night through the chaos, but it felt seriously unfair this pressure fell on them. It was clearly a management problem and managers should have been coming round to each table explaining the situation and offering some form of apology and compensation but this never happened. We had to instead ask what was happening, and we were then grateful when they offered to deduct an item off our bill (we do think this should have been offered to everyone).
I wouldn't recommend booking this restaurant for any sort of public holiday/occasion.

Great place - especially good for students etc. fairly priced and lots of options on the menu. Nicely designed restaurant and good staff.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Laurence at Zizzi’s Pizza, and I cannot praise him enough! From the moment we walked in, he made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. His attentiveness and professionalism were outstanding—always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Laurence’s passion for great service truly shined through, making our Valentine’s Day special. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with such genuine way , but Laurence did just that.
If you’re dining at Zizzi’s, I highly recommend asking for Laurence—he’s an absolute star and turns a simple meal into a memorable experience. Thank you, Laurence, for your amazing hospitality! We’ll definitely be back.
