What can I say? We live locally and have visited before- a number of times over the years. This is testament of the quality of the galleries of Justice.
It had been a good few years since our last visit so we ventured over.
Very interesting exhibits, hands on and the staff are so good. We had the pleasure of a very knowledgeable 'hangman' and a fabulous 'inmate' (with the most iconic wailing skills ever).
Excellent way to spend the day!
10/10

A brilliant exploration of the history of the justice system, its evolution and its flaws. Eye opening both on how crude and unjust, but also how the balance of power and accountability has shifted.
Particularly recommend the courtroom reenactments, which are great fun.

It was a great visit. Try to stay for the live performances, really worth the time. The museum is much bigger than what we were expecting.

Visited today with my partner and had a wonderful time! We got to see the 12 o'clock performance in the court room as well which was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, helpful and informative, the exibits were great and the people in performance roles were beyond amazing which really helped to make the experience as good as it was. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Fantastic day out with my grandchildren aged 4 and 6, we all enjoyed learning about the judicial system, although some of the subject matter is quite heavy it wasn’t put across in a scary way, the children found it really interesting and lots of questions were asked. The actors and actresses were brilliant and fun, very well presented and we all learnt a lot. We all gave it 10/10 a great family experience and very good value.

I would like to say how amazing this museum is. Yet at the same time sad because of the Ceilia Refugee story !
I would like to also say a big thank you to the gentleman behind reception. Who found my husbands phone and kept it charged and safe till we returned on our way back to Manchester. He was polite and efficient and even gave us details on where to catch the greenline bus. Thank you so much .

The justice museum is by far the best attraction in nottingham. The building is preserved so well and the historic courtroom is resplendent! The staff do amazing historical re-enactments which visitors are encouraged to take part in. Touring the building allows one to place themselves in the shoes of past convicts. The exhibits offer poignant reflections on Victorian politics and justice in the context of modern judiciary. An absolute must see for anyone spending time in this city.
