Great afternoon, was a very special emotional occasion for the family. Chris was outstanding we requested a specific table which Chris was more than willing to move us to. Was great throughout the visit and very attentive. Food was amazing too. Thank you to all and a special thanks Chris.

Food was great. Disappointed that paid for the upgrade on the Wi-Fi this didn’t work. Contacted the Wi-Fi partner twice via email, got the normal response about how important you are to them and would be in contact but didn’t come back to me. Maybe they should get a better Wi-Fi provider!

Not eaten here for quite a while but as in the area gave it a try.
Will not be rushing back again. Had chicken melt with salad and fries. The bacon on chicken was just a piece of streaky fat. Think they counted the chips on the plate and threw the salad on. My friend had fish and chips, skin on fish (unusual) and again counted the chips, wrong peas given. The food must have been standing for some time as was only just warm. Did not send it back as did not want it in the microwave again! Think it will be long time before going back.

Went with Friends for breakfast.. ordered no problem.. 34 mins later food arrived.. 😋 there was 5 people in restaurant so ??? Excuse?? Then the food ! What a disappointment. the black pudding was like an ice hockey puk.the poached eggs were rock hard yolks .bacon was undercooked. Tomatoes were scorched and dry.and the Sausages were like torpedoes. Over cooked. A total let down.sorry we all agreed we will never go again for breakfast.

We have been eating at the Granary for a number of years but we feel that recently the menu selection is not as varied and the food prices have increased and the amount of food you get has reduced. The serving staff are friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was very quiet when I visited at 4pm. The food was excellent as was the service.
My only negative comment is that there aren't any disabled facilities- ramp or toilets

Popped in for breakfast which was pretty disappointing. Several slices of bacon cooked together as they had come out of the packet so they weren’t cooked on the joining pieces, beans were cold and the mushrooms were so old they were cold and wrinkly, sausages were not great either, shame. Staff were lovely though. Toilets need a good clean - cleaners seem to forget the back of the seat and the toilet itself - pretty gross

Went for breakfast with 3 friends. I didn't eat and glad I didn't. Overcooked hard black pudding like a hockey puck.tomatos almost dry poached eggs hard. It was a disappointment to my 3 friends. Very bad atmosphere. Will not be back. Sorry.ps took 33 minutes to arrive after ordered .. terrible

Normally always went to Beefeater Peterborough. We always had great food there. I chose the cheapest veggie burger as money is tight and the price increases are significant. Not just there. I had a Halloumi burger, which was delivered in abun which must have been there for days. Everything was dry. Still paid £16 or £17. My son was quite happy with his platter. The service is always good there. I never had an issue. Not rushing back

Every visit is outstanding, from the food and service, to the friendliness and cleanliness.
Had a party of 8, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend The Granary in Peterborough.

We booked here as I love the bbq ribs, which I have maybe twice a year and I always enjoy them but this time they were very dry and not at all nice, the other two people with me had the salmon which was extremely dry and not very nice, the parsnip s that came with their meal were cooked to a crisp and also uneditable and we asked for them to be replaced, our waitress was lovely, very polite and helpful. Looking at the other reviews a lot of people are saying the same about the food and I agree with what they are saying, this place needs to change the chef
