Hotel is decent business hotel. Ive stayed here lots times as it's convienently close to the offices i attend. The rooms are mostly of a high standard though I've had the odd one where the bathroom is in need of minor repairs.
The spa, steam and sauna is modern, clean and generally excellent. Front desk staff are also very good indeed, friendly and efficiënt.
The food is a bit hit and miss. For example, I've had excellent burgers and dry overcooked ones. I've been forgotten about twice but given free drinks to compensate. Breakfast is rather better with a good spread of hot and cold. Coffee machines make a decent espresso /americano which is a plus
Biggest downer for me is the price which varies from 70 to 170 a night using dynamic pricing. I'm finding that in 2025 the cost has gone up a lot and over my company budget. I book my jan and feb stays in 2024 but doesn't look like I'll be staying again unless something changes

Went to a Christmas party... main course was awful, DJ was worse played awful, depressing music, no xmas songs, requests were denied as too modern or don't know it. Loads left early. Hugely disappointing & expensive considering the food & entertainment were so poor.
Venue was nice, nicely decorated.
Bar was expensive £13 for a wine / £16 for double & mixer.

Over £200 per night to stay in a 4 star hotel… in Peterborough.. that’s not even near the city centre!
You can stay in central London at a 5 star for £300 in comparison!

Amazing place for all our conferences, the staff are brilliant & very professional & accommodating, lovely food, good value for money, free parking, the whole team are just brilliant, they make sure our conferences run as smoothly as they can, & nothing is a problem, thank you to all of you that work at the Marriott

Pretty ordinary Marriot. Nothing wrong but nothing special about it either. I was there for a work conference. Room ok, nasty over bath shower. Comfy bed. Team dinner was poor - chicken tasteless and a dollop of mashed potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding cold solid block. Decent gym and good breakfast. Top sausages. They failed to deliver the coffee and pastries for our mid-morning break. Poor. Mixed bag overall - not bad, but nothing special.

Spacious clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast disappointing. 3 star for the breakfast. Wanted to cancel the breakfast for the remainder of the stay but they declined. Was told that something would be sorted the next day but nothing was offered.

I was afforded a genuinely warm welcome from Marc and Carlos, both of whom made the check-in process efficient and hassle-free. Throughout my stay, reception staff proved to be courteous and knowledgeable. I had no issues during my stay. The room was impeccably clean, as were the communal areas. I enjoyed a meal in the restaurant, admirably served by Callum, whom I also found most welcoming. I do hope that the management will find itself in a position to pass on my gratitude to these three members of staff, who made my stay quite exceptional. Thank you, and I hope to be back soon.

Desk staff lovely hotel really clean. Good location for motorway . Jacuzzi good size enough for plenty of people to get in at once. Only thing is the start button is on a wall so someone has to get out and start it. It should be on the wall surrounding the Jacuzzi so you don't have to get out like in some other places. But overall very good

Was in the area for work. I’ve been a Bonvoy member for years and this is my favorite Marriott property that I’ve ever been to. Superior service, amazing fitness club with a great pool/sauna/steam/gym, and a bar that actually pours a proper pint of Guinness. Would recommend to any one in the area.

I have become a member of the Swimming Pool, the staff a very welcoming and helpful. The changing Room for the disabled is always immaculately clean. After a swim there is nothing nicer than laying on a lounger and enjoying a beautiful pot of coffee and biscuits

The room is old, the chromecast doesn’t work, no usb c port.
My room was not clean after the first night.
The room service was good.
Unfortunately the breakfast is awful !!!

Simple, clean and beautiful would be the 3 words I would use to describe this hotel. Even though it is a bit more pricey than a regular hotels it's well worth it

A lovely stay in quite a modern well equipped room with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The shower was powerful and nice and hot. We used the swimming pool which had its own male and female changing rooms, albeit small which also had a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which were all located in the same space so it was easy to go in and out of each as you pleased from the pool. We found these facilities very good. The pool was 1.2m deep, and it had the large jacuzzi next to it. They provided towels to use in the leisure area when you arrive.
We used the bar at night where we had some nice cocktails, although small in size for what we paid but I found the other drinks quite reasonable. Nice range of wines, spirits, lagers and ciders.
Our breakfast in the morning was a buffet style with cereals, fruits, bakery items, breads and hot all English breakfast choice of Bacon, Sausage, mushroom, beans, scrambled egg, fried egg, hash browns. All very tasty.
The reception and bar staff were very good here, always, on hand to help. The coffee and hot chocolate very nice and it had plenty of free parking, an easy find from the M11 into Peterborough.
