Upon arrival, we were informed we’d have to wait an hour for food. No problem! We were ready to settle in and enjoy the ambiance.
After a mere 10 minutes, half of our starters—definitely not winning any beauty contests—shuffled out from the kitchen, looking like they had just completed a long and arduous journey. It took another 25 minutes for the remaining starters to join the party, fashionably late as always.
Then came the main courses, which I can only describe as an exercise in patience. We waited an excruciating hour, and when they finally graced our table, only half of the dishes made it. After another 40 minutes the rest of the food finally arrived,
Feeling like a castaway on a deserted island of hunger, I summoned the manager over for some assistance. I wish I had caught his name; if I had to describe him, I’d say he looked like a clean-shaven Ricky Gervais but without a single ounce of his signature humor. When I expressed my concerns, he responded with a smug grin and the charming advice to “deal with it.” Oh, how I wished I could “deal with” that attitude!
To top it all off, when I dared to mention his rudeness, he suggested I leave. I must say, it was the first time I’ve ever been kicked out of a restaurant for bringing up customer service. Bravo!
In conclusion, my experience was a tantalizing rollercoaster of anticipation and disappointment.

Booked for 19:15 on the 08/03/25, Arrived and waiting for 15 mins before anyone spoke to us. A couple arrived shortly after us and were seated. Was told that our table would not be ready for another hour. Whilst we were there, there were two families that were receiving refunds. Clearly this pub has lost control. Very disappointed and appalled.

Ordered a specific breakfast meal which part came early with eggs uncooked, and the bacon which was missed came 15 minutes later and after the eggs and toast had been eaten. Advocado was guacamile, so also wrong. A breakfast meal for one, served in two halves 15 mins apart, isn't ideal. No recognition from staff this isn't acceptable.

Visited for Sunday Lunch. Took nearly 40 mins for meals to arrive. Seemed lack of staff

Absolutely woeful, management happy to watch people waiting at the bar while chatting amongst themselves, bar left completely unattended, no proper training and complete and utter lack of respect from the management, if you are not eating it seems like you do not matter , appalling

Brilliant service from start to finish. Felt really looked after by Seanah and chloe always making sure we have drinks and making sure the foid was ok. Will definitely be coming again.

Great Hotel. Not the cheapest in the area but definitely a great Hotel.
Staff are great and can't do enough for you to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Food was lovely and chiellee Dan Sarah made us feel welcome , the service was vary good although at times the staff where Rushed off their feet but always had a smile, nothing bad to say about meddow farm, so see you soon

Would have been a 5 star review but unfortunately what I believe to be the manager greeted us with a very abrupt bad attitude due to confusion around where we could sit because of a private function. Luckily this experience was soon made up for with Gemma who had amazing friendly service from the bar to serving us at our table.

What a lovely place, the girls on the bar were amazing, Seanah and the blonde behind the bar were so friendly, thank you guys will deffo be back soon, can tell they love their job and have fun.
