We stayed in Oak Cottage and it was ideal for the six of us (and two dogs). The accommodation was spotless, the beds comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a fantastic weekend and our hosts, Nicky and David, could not have been more helpful before or during our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend Ridge Hall Cottages to anyone looking to holiday in the area. Alex, August 2024

Cosy clean cottage in a beautiful tranquil setting. Has everything you need. Private parking & dog friendly. A little too far to walk places as it's on a narrow country lane. Highly recommend. Perfect hosts. Thank you David & Nicola. See you soon xx

My partner and I booked the Catkin Cottage as a last-minute bank holiday weekend break with our small dog. The property itself is lovely and the views were stunning. We were given a warm welcome and shown around the property. However; whilst there is mention the property is within one mile of a pub, you need to tackle a 15% hill on a single-track road with no lights. Furthermore, the pub doesn't allow dogs, there is no mention of this in the listing as we wouldn't have booked had we known this. If you aren't bothered by hills, the dark, driving, and sitting outside the 'local' pub with your dog rather than inside. this property is for you. Unfortunately, not for us.

Shepherds hut stay

Had a wonderful week in the Shepherds hut view was just amazing across fields and farm land . Enjoyed the wild life especially the owl that flew past most nights between 9pm and 930pm Only fault was the tv wish it had a swivel bracket. But that was a minor thing as we didn't watch it much to exhausted after our days out on the glorious moors

What an amazing place. Set in the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside is this lovely stone cottage with its own patio area outside. The interior is tastefully decorated a nd furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances and everything you should need for a self catering stay. The bed is comfortable and once again quality is apparent in the lovely bedding ensuring a good nights sleep. Catkin Cottage is ideally placed to discover the delights of both countryside walks, coastal paths and beaches. An added bonus is off road parking. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout and this could not be faulted in any way. Great care was taken to ensure this. Large windows allow plenty of natural light into the cottage and offer amazing countryside views. Catkin is one of several cottages at Ridge Hall and our friends had Willow Barn we all spent time with them and found this 3 bed Cottage to be of the same high standard. The owners are near by and available should help be needed. In all our dealings with Nicky we found her to be efficient, helpful and approachable but not intrusive. Catkin Cottage ticks all the boxes and then some. I unreservedly recommend it to family and friends alike. We Look forward to a return stay. Thank you Nicky.

Gorgeous place to spend at least 3 nights! 100% recommended! Amazing views and extremely tranquil. Perfect to spend quality time with family 🥰

A very nice cottage very cozy.a bit difficult getting to it as the lane is very narrow and steep in places

We have had a great week staying at Willow Cottage . Nicky made us welcome and was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the cake it was yummy also the apples.

Nice venue and location. Helped by the weather. In normal weather air circulation would be OK but bedrooms very hot.

Usual quality for a premier inn but the issue was the windows are sealed shut. No good if you are claustrophobic
