Asked for medium cooked steak came rare was told we can't have new steak just re heated which is not best thing to do. Should have cooked a new dinner how we asked for it, wouldn't recommend for eating, good sports bar and music nights

Staff are pretty good . Beers okay when they have it . Sorting toilet issue has been an awful experience. I guess the men's toilets don't work so they put signs up , then the only option you have is to use the 1 and only disabled loo.
It doesn't work with how many people it holds so people are told to use the urinals. It's stacking up in there now to a point where the place REEKS of dysentery and smells like the mop is being used down stairs ad upstairs. Needs sorting because it smells unhygienic when you walk in.

Came in for bottomless brunch today for my partners 40th. The assistant manager a dark haired lady had a face like thunder from the moment we set foot through the door. Extremely unhelpful, rude and not friendly. Decided to leave before we even bought a drink. Avoid is she is there

After many years of this being my favourite pub, I come in to an empty pub because of no ales being available on a Sunday of all days! Probably a delivery in 2 or 3 days! Please don't let your standards and reputation slip.

Good food, excellent service.
Ruined by a dog barking all the time, mentioned it to staff but they said they was annoyed aswell but couldn’t do anything. Shame as we left and had dessert and drinks elsewhere!!

Was in Scarborough for Xmas visiting my sister I only got to visit 4 other pubs on boxing day and yours was by far the best. It was warm clean and very welcoming the toilets were cold but clean all that aside your staff were brilliant keep doing what you do will definitely be visiting the next time I'm in Scarborough

Brilliant pub.
I unfortunately struggle with many intolerances with largely restricts my ability to eat out with friends and family. However - the kitchen staff, namely Tom the head chef, ensured I was able to eat out (mixed grill with gluten and dairy free alternatives) safely.
The pub itself is certainly a vibrant hub in the centre of Scarborough and we find ourselves regularly attending given the range of different activities through the week.
We absolutely will be attending whenever we can next.

Amstel tasted off. A female member of staff commented on the customers in a derogatory way. Won't be back in a hurry.f
