Really enjoyed our visit, the decor and atmosphere was lovely, it was a bit disappointing to find there was no Pedigree on as that was one of our reasons for choosing this pub but we soon settled on alternative drinks. We then ordered food and drinks via the app, staff brought the drinks over really quickly and checked the rest of our order and asking how we preferred it served (starter first or all together) when the food arrived it was piping hot and delicious 😋 once we had finished the plates were quickly removed and our main meal arrived, again piping hot, nicely presented and cooked to our liking. We were so full we had to order more drinks so we could sit comfortably and digest it before moving on! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and we will return next time we are up this way.

Worst pub food ever ..dirty table .. overpriced ..understaffed .. although bar staff were very efficient. Smallest fish chips and peas I've ever seen..also just a tip..I think I speak for everyone when I say most of us prefer our peas to be hot..won't be visiting again.

As we walked in we liked the appearance and atmosphere. It was clean and fresh. We ordered via the app, which was easy and straightforward. Our drinks arrived quickly as did our food. The gentleman who served us was friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious, my husband had the fish and chips, he said it wasn't greasy at all. I had a cheeseburger, it was slightly burnt, which I love! It was cooked perfectly for me. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be going again

Wonderful experience today, visited with the family for a carvery. The meat was amazing and very good portion on both the large and regular plates. All the vegetables were cooked excellently and everything looked very appetising. We even got there earlier enough to get a piece of crackling.
Shane served us at the carvery deck, he was fabulous and everything cooked my Jamie was delicious.

Disappointing, service non existent,carvery removed upon arrival of pre booked table,not enough cutlery issued for the amount of diners and meals ordered.quiet premises, booked table not reserved and shown to a table with bench seats in the children's play area. Not at all ideal for four adults and a teenager! Staff have a don't care attitude.

This is a great establishment sat right on the Southport seafront and is dog friendly in certain areas if you want to share your dinner with your fur baby

I was disappointed upon entry as there was a lot of rubbish around the entrance. The venue itself was lovely inside, lovely decor, nice and bright. The venue was reasonably busy with a good atmosphere. The food took a while which was understandable. We weren't offered any sauces with our meal. I requested tartar sauce to go with the scampi. After 5 minutes or so I had to go and ask again as they didn't return. The other sauce I requested never arrived. The food was OK!! But considering the price i wasnt overly impressed. To be honest the service let it down most!! There was no check back to ask if we were happy with our meal!! Not sure I'll be returning!!

Very friendly staff. We were greeted on our way in with a hello and welcome before choosing our table.
Very clean, warm and homely pub with a good choice of food.
Wifi was available and I could order from the table which was very convenient.
Drinks were swiftly brought over one the order was placed and the food wasn't far behind.
Food was lovely and hot and well presented. Chicken kebab and a mac and cheese didn't disappoint and both plates polished off.
We will definitely be back again.
Lovely pub and lovely staff. Keep up the good work.

The food was barely average. One carvery: meat was good but the rest mediocre, the potatoes tasted very fatty and the cauliflower cheese had what looked like nacho cheese sauce over soggy cauli! One mix of starters and sides which were average but smallish portions of halloumi/chicken for the price. The loaded fries were generous but the sauce was very sweet for BBQ. The server was polite though and the interior quite pleasant.

Come here regularly for carvery, asked for a meal that wasn’t on the menu and they was happy to go ahead with it which I thought was good service. Only issue was a hair was on the carvery plate and the egg was slightly under cooked. Charlie that served us is always friendly
