Sad sad news about pontins Southport holiday park don't as it use to be 2007 won 3 singing and dancing competitions good old days in 2023 Going in 2024 January close ther doors the last time the flood no cost for the holiday park that way went down hill for ther rest in peace 😭💔

I am absolutely appalled with our experience at pontends. To start off, as soon as we arrived we noticed that basically everything on site was closed. Second of all, the service was extremely slow and we waited ahout an hour before we got into a room. When I saw the rooms I felt like I was in a horror movie. They were absolutely beyond filthy. I felt like the mouse that I found underneath my bed. As soon as I parked my car I noticed all of the bin bags and it made me sick. The stairs looked like they were about to fall down and when I got to my room there was either sick or some sort of curry all over the window. A massive stench hit me as soon as I entered the room. I thought I was going to throw up. I had to step out for a second to breathe. When I looked around there was endless amounts mould everywhere. To try and make my time a bit better I went to the beach with my two kids and tried to make the best out of it but I just couldn’t enter that room again. I left pontins the day I arrived. I would’ve rather went on holiday to a council estate. ( guys some of this might not be pontins fault so don’t blame them! )

Absolutely and utterly depressing, leaves me to wonder how this place hasn't been knocked down, this place looks worse than alcatraz, either bulldoze your apartments and make new ones or nobody will want to come. who would pay for a trip to Alcatraz prison in the uk?

Spent five days here in November for a pool tournament. An awful place, tatty and bleak. Keeping the heating on in the chalet for one day cost £20. Small slugs in bathroom sink and on toilet cistern. Gaps round window frames. Leaking tap meant constant puddle in bathroom, fixed twice, still leaking when we left. The food in the restaurant was fine, but many of the plates were dirty. Skeleton staff doing their best.

hated it . never have i stayed anywhere i have to clean before entering with my luggage and as well as paid to stay there for 4 nights have to pay for the electric too which was 20.00 per day! scandalous! awful place. don't know how this place is still open

Absolutely terrible, the place was filthy! Only one place to eat and the lad serving was more concerned with people turning up for a burger at 8:30 as he's "Supposed to finish at 9" The rooms were terrible, grown adults expected to sleep on faux leather sofa beds, mould in the shower, the plates in the room were filthy, rubbish from previous occupants down the side of the cooker, half of the arcade machines were out of order and the prize cabin only open for 2 hours a day, we booked for upgraded rooms too, so I'd hate to see the state of the standard rooms, my other half has reached out to Pontins on several occasions now, only to be fobbed off, Absolutely no customer service at all!

Cheap and cheerful holiday. For the price of £89 for a weekend away with friends and family you really do get a cheap and cheerful holiday.

Cold damp rooms. Needs a good clean, flooring room filthy. Don't walk round without slippers as feet will be black. No socket in bedroom. No towel rails in bathroom. Very basic. Entertainment was average.

I have seen tramps tents in better condition than this place. I was only here on business and thankfully only bothered to stay for one night. I moved out to another hotel which I paid for myself. Who on earth would want to come here on a break / holiday? The staff do not look interested and honestly can't blame them. The whole site needs bulldozing. The clientele is something you'd expect from somewhere like this. I am so glad I never have to step foot in this place again.

100% better than a tent 🎪 This is my second visit to Pontins Southport. The first time was or Pool Nationals 🎱 Second for TidyBoy's Weekender Rave 🪩🕺 The gas and electric meter was alot easier this time around and payment sent through phone. I'd 💯 take cleaning products for wiping down surfaces. But overall the place has only improved. I wouldn't mind coming back if I'm honest 😅 I had a great time, thank you Pontins.

Awful place,cudnt have a bath for three days,as I'm disabled an my friend we could not get in bath,the fridge was broken,no double bed,so the linen we brought with us would not fit,we had to call security as youths were using an electric scooter along gantry until 2 o clock in morning and cud not sleep for two nightsx
