Awful. If I could give less than one star, then I would.
They had little meet left when we arrived for our booking and by the time we had ordered drinks there was no meat left. Apparently, the chap carving the meat had notified the manager two hours prior that there wouldn't be any meat by our booking. The manager didn't contact us and tried telling us we didn't have a booking.
Awful service. This Toby is best avoided.

Wowman at front desk did not seem like she wanted to work try to sit down and had to move 3 times you would of fort some one would be there to seat you and the food look like it has been done bi a baby could be much better

BREAKFAST REVIEW. Came in as had a voucher as don’t normally have a breakfast at Toby. But thought would give it a try. It wasn’t great tbh. No black pudding on menu so that was a little annoying. But the food is a little like that Mike Reid breakfast joke (google it if you don’t know it) nothing seemed to be cooked even at all. Like the bacon for instance one half of it Seems undercooked and the other half burnt. And all the food seems to be like that. Top layer of the potato dishes they do they all burnt but underneath they all undercooked. They couldn’t keep up with the eggs so the line was constantly at a stand still and the cook was only able to bring out like I think 10-15 eggs at a time but when there’s like 8 people waiting for them and most people have two a time you get to the eggs and they’re all gone and have to wait yet again for them to be cooked. By the time i got my eggs the rest of my food was cold. Maybe just do a big massive scramble pot maybe would be better I don’t know but it was annoying.
The carvery’s are hit and miss as usual with Toby’s but we like them for a quick fix.
The other thing we’ve noticed is the place itself is looking very tired and rundown. It’s needs a good freshen up.

Eleven of us booked for a Thursday lunch during half term .
Six children five adults.
Great value for money.
The waitress who looked after us was Fiona .
She she made us very welcome and is great at her job.
We will definitely return

This was booked by my mother inlaw for her birthday, because she had a 25 percent discount voucher who wanted to pay , or so she thought ,,very disappointing, when she came to pay ,at first she could not find her app on her phone, so i paid to save her embarrassment ,then she found it ,so was told by-the waitress yes they could and would Reimburse me the discount ,but needed the duty manager , Who said NO cant do it after the bill has been paid and refused ,i am some £25 out of pocket and feel your policy needs to be looked at and changed ,very disappointed,
your reply is complete rubbish ,I was standing at the till with the receipt and my card ,and yes you CAN do refunds are you saying you have NEVER paid out a refund
