This is really a nice place to visit. The grounds and parking are free, so if you bring a picnic it is a cheap but enjoyable day out with plenty of walks. There's a large play area for children of all ages and the cafè is finally getting updated and extended with better toilet facilities, thankfully as currently they are dire. The museum itself, it is well worth buying the yearly pass as it's so inexpensive that even a couple of visits have paid for themselves. Inside they have extra activities during term holidays, and the whole place is worth many a visit.

Fantastic staff so friendly helpful and made our visit lovely. Especially lovely lady in sweet shop so nice to us all. Thank you to all. Grandchildren love the museum been mamy time and we'll all be back soon.

Always love it here, so much to do! Cafe is a bit lacking so take a picnic if you're staying for the day!
