Booked a table on the app for 2 30 arrived to be told that they couldn't accommodate us I explained I d booked on the app to be told they hadn't got enough food to accommodate us we were only a table of two an other peoplecwere eating

We visited today, 5/3/25. This was our 3rd visit, and boy, what a difference. The service we received from Ebony, Tom, and Daisy was 5*. A total turnaround from our last 2 visits. Drinks arrived swiftly. There was no wait at the carvery. Food was served immediately and was hot enough, with an excellent selection of vegetables on offer. All sauces and gravy were available. This is very good news to past customers who my have had a bad experience. Also, good news going forward for new customers. If they can keep this up.
All in all 5* service and an enjoyable experience.

Lovely food,pleasant helpful staff. Check that all is well with the food,whilst your eating it. Their carvery is tasteful, meat tastes like it should

I’m aware when you have food delivered the quality is effected but the portions awful quality was also awful it was cold and tasteless and tmi but all il say is all people who ate required a trip to the toilet once they ate the food was shocking for the price we paid will definitely not be back do not waste your money

Went on a Sunday with my family. They had carvery I ordered from the main menu, had orderd this in the past come out really nice and exactly what it said on the menu.
However this time it came out completely different. Half the salad was missing looked like it was chucked on the plate with no care in the world, looks like something you would feed a hamster !
When first come out it didn't even come with the chopped carrot or the dressing, they took it away and chucked that carrot on...... not great.
Overall really disappointed with this not worth £8!!
Manger said he'll take it off the bill and to no shock was still on bill so got it removed.

We came in on 7th February for a birthday in the evening. The staff were SO friendly and attentive, really nice interaction with the kids also. The food was great the service was great. Will be returning!

On first arrival i was asked if any food allergies were present and, and any questions i had were answered and help was provided.
Service from Tom, Molly & Amber was excellent, Couldn't do enough for you and even when extremely busy, still smiled, attentive and very funny, even when the card machine kept glitching like a bad Matrix storyline Staff remained professional and warm, even though there were plenty of ladles and heavy pots and sharp knives to attack the pesky thing with!
Food was great and another mention must be made to the Kitchen staff, and although i know they exist, were rarely seen just an occasional scuttle into the food area to replenish the food, then zipping off back into the kitchen area to start again. It was a little bit like spotting a rare animal in the wilderness, but without the food preps, chefs and veg prep no goodies would be on offer to over stuff my face with and now feel like a barrel with legs, but worth it and definitely will be going back to do exactly the same.
Gammon was a highlight for me, absolutely delicious and swiftly followed by the roasties, and closely followed by the rest. I went for the extra large as i knew from just viewing the selection there i was going to try all off it and did, Followed it with a Honeycomb Sunday dream, which was worth it and apparently calorie free!!
Have also left a Thank you thing on the Toby website as i thought this was the Google review as the slip of paper with a qr code on didn't scan for some reason and it took me a while to get to this as i don't usually leave reviews, apart from on eBay.

It’s always a great experience here. The staff are so lovely everytime! We had Amber and Tom today and they’re amazing. Regardless they’re all amazing and will help out. Food is spot on and you can’t beat it.

Went on the way to Wales so we didn't have to make food once we got there and so glad we did. Our waitress/server Amber was a true diamond and credit to Toby. She was attentive clocked I was disabled and offered help and assistance without being condescending. She checked in throughout our meal without hovering over us was personable with all the customers and genuinely talked to all. The carvery was amazing with a choice of four meats, various vegetables, roast, mashed and dauphinoise potatoes and also some mac and cheese. we couldn't fault the carvery and the simple dairy ice cream with Oreo crunch was like a very good whippy. very happy and with the app offering 25% off meals it's a win win

Came to Toby carvery today 16/2/25. We had booked online had the proof but was told it hadn't been booked, they told us they had gone quiet so was able to fit us in, we were lucky otherwise they would of turned us down. When we had been seated we waited a while for our drinks glasses and had to ask for them as they had been forgotten. No service with a smile and everything seemed to much effort. Also toilets are not very clean and toilets themselves were blocked with tissue. Very disappointed.

Worst toby carvery in the country! No meat ready just bones on the side and the young girl “Molly” was not only useless but rude to her supervisor in front of the customers. Five customers left as they got tired of waiting while she was talking with friends who were seated. Wish I could give zero

Went for breakfast which was extremly disappointing. Most food missing. Bacon was hard. Hash browns were like mash potato. No eggs.
