We booked at short notice for a family meal. As soon as we arrived there was a warm welcome and the staff couldn’t do enough to help and provide a high chair and changing facilities for baby. We all chose a carvery and very glad we did . We all agreed it was the best carvery we had eaten . Everything was fresh , perfectly cooked and presented . Every member of staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. The whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable, as Sunday lunch should be.
Congratulations to staff and boss ( Jake I think)
Definately worth a visit . We will be back .

My friend and I have lunched at the Red Lion quiet a few times , yesterday was such a let down , ordered a latte I'm sure it was just coffee granules and not hot. Lunch was gammon chips eggs and peas.the only things that were nice were the eggs. The gammon was thick and tough , all in all very dissatisfied. Had to keep jacket on as it was cold others kept there coats on too. No heating on ,wont be going back any time soon.

I had the Chicken pie and it was gorgeous...a proper pie with pastry on all sides! Served with lovely creamy mash, green beans abd lashings of gravy washed down with a nice pint of Ilkley Blonde

Just home after a lovely meal. Liver & bacon was delicious. The sweets were lovely too. Our waitress was great.
Jake the landlord took time to chat to us. We’ll definitely be back.

Back in the day perhaps 2024 we ate here, as my spouse was in the USAF.
We had great steak and chips. If I could go again, I would ! Looks like they are just as good today as they were back in the day !

So glad I decided to take my mum here for lunch. After our amazing steak and chips at their country night, I knew I wanted to go back! Today was no different! Food was outstanding, service was amazing (waitress was very friendly and chatty), pub was clean and well presentable. Honestly can not thank you all enough. Thank you for a fantastic meal 🥰 We will be back!

Staff were all very professional and friendly. Highly recommend this place but you have too book quick! They are always full!

Everything was nice but i just didn't expect a tea bag in a cup presented , a small t-pot would have been so much nicer. Also instant coffee is also not expected so these in itself was a let down

Fantastic quality roast dinner, for a decent price. Cider and beer selection is good, and the interior of the pub is rustic and traditional. Parking is a bit of a nightmare when it’s busy

2 gammon egg and chips, one burger, one caramelised pork chop and one honey mustard chicken stack and 5 very happy customers. All the food was cooked fresh, tasted delicious and left all of us too full to ask about deserts. Great value for money, lovely pub, great staff... We'll definitely be back soon!
