A wonderful place with some great vehicles and amazing staff. The coffee is great as well

Worth it especially when it’s not race weekend and it’s a bit quieter.

It's OK...and that about sums it up really. It's expensive for what it is, and I can't see myself rushing back despite the 12 months free re-admission. There some interesting cars and a few bikes. It definitely needs more stuff and could be quite good. The 'racing experience' 3D cinema was quite underwhelming, and it spits you out into the ridiculously expensive gift shop.

What a gem of a museum. Had a great time here. Excellent and interesting exhibition. Staff super friendly and very knowledgeable. Also got to see the track with some cars racing 🏎

A Petrolhead’s Paradise – Fun for the Whole Family! As a kid, I was obsessed with Niki Lauda and Ayrton Senna—two absolute legends who made me believe that one day, I too could tear up the racetrack. Fast forward to today, and while my racing career has been limited to overtaking pensioners on the M1, visiting Silverstone Museum was the next best thing! This place is an absolute dream for any motorsport fan. The history, the cars, the smell of high-octane fuel lingering in the air (okay, maybe that was just my imagination)—it’s all there. The interactive displays kept me entertained for hours, and the simulators? Let’s just say I now have even more respect for F1 drivers—turns out, it’s harder than it looks! But what really makes this place special is that it’s not just for hardcore racing fans. It’s packed with interactive exhibits, games, and hands-on experiences, so even if your family doesn’t know the difference between a McLaren and a microwave, they’ll still have a blast. Kids can burn off some energy, and adults can geek out over the legendary cars (or pretend they know what DRS does). Seeing Senna’s legacy and Lauda’s incredible story gave me chills, and the staff were fantastic—probably used to dealing with guys like me standing in awe, whispering, "one day…" at every Ferrari. Whether you're a lifelong racing nut, a casual fan, or just someone who got dragged along by an F1-obsessed relative, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend—and I’ll definitely be back (maybe after some simulator practice so I don’t embarrass myself again).

Good way to spend a few hours. If you're into motorsports?..... Not just about F1, there's some history about the place as well; pre circuit. Not hugely expensive to go in Has on site café which is good & 'reasonably' priced toilets really clean & tidy as well. Loads of parking & of course the obligatory gift shop. Well worth a visit really

A fantastic museum for any Formula 1 or Motorsport enthusiast. The home of the British Grand Prix has a great selection of cars, bikes, racing suits and lots of displays telling the story of the location and the races held there. The videos at the beginning and the end are particularly enjoyable. We visited during half term in February and it wasn't overly busy meaning you were easily able to see the displays and the queue at the cafe wasn't very long. The selection of food was fairly good, consisting of burgers, chicken tenders, paninis, pizza and sandwiches. It was somewhat pricey but there food was of good quality and tasted good There are currently works going on outside on the tank that you used to be able to walk along where the middle are painted on the wall. David Coulthard and Lewis Hamilton have now been joined by Lando Norris and George Russell on the wall of the tunnel but you can't currently walk up to it. Hopefully you will when the wireless have concluded. The gift shop is well stocked with toys, model cars of various sizes, books and clothing. The model cars are quite well priced too.

Nice f1 museum experience. You could spend 2-3 hours in it. Lots of parking space.

You can buy tickets in advance or you can buy on the door. If you fill in gift aid, you get a year membership free! Highly recommend for a fun day out.

Took my boys, 6 and 8, and they loved it, despite them both not being particularly interested in Motorsport. They loved the Scalextric track and there are lots of little interactive things to keep them interested. We spent a good 3 hours there.

Overall a good experience, but not enough engineering galore, most of the practical exhibits were not working. The cars are beautiful and well lit but crammed together and can't really be explored in detail. An F1 museum with no F1 to sit in is a little disappointing. Also, very cold.

The Silverstone museum was a great experience with great historical facts about all kinds of motorsport and the Silverstone track itself. I do wish there were a few more modern things shown. The racing sim was the best part of the museum. It was really fun but I do recommended booking in advance as staff at the desk said it's quite popular. I do think people are being ripped off with what their charging for items in the shop and cafe.

Had high expectations, but was a bit disappointed. If you’re a die hard fan I’m sure you would rate higher but felt very short lived. The simulator being a similar cost to the ticket seems a bit of a joke.

The museum is really well thought out and has some really great interactive elements. The upstairs part definitely flows better. Downstairs is more open plan and quite noisy because there's lots of different videos or audios playing and it's hard to hear what some of them are saying. The cars are beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The two bits that let it down are the heating and the cafe. The ex-aircraft hanger the museum is in is really cold! Bring a coat! The cafe was a bit naff to be honest. The food wasn't really hot and drinks were served in disposable cups, for the price you'd expect better. The lady who took our order was also a bit rude, souring that part of the trip.
